Raw materials derived from natural, coal, and oil-based sources are used to produce a wide variety of linear and branched alcohols, alcohol alkoxylates, castor oil ethoxylates, ether sulfates, linear alkyl benzene (LAB), paraffinic solvents, and waxes.

Adjuvants, non-ionic and anionic emulsifiers, dispersants, wetting agents, solvents, and wax products in suspension concentrates (SC), emulsifiable concentrates (EC), concentrated aqueous emulsions (EW), microemulsions (ME), and fertilizer granules.

NACOL Ether
Sasol Chemicals NACOL Ethers are high-purity, biodegradable ethers derived from analogous linear alcohols. NACOL Ethers are available with chain lengths between C12 and C36. Each is compatible in a wide variety of applications, including flow assurance, cleaning applications as an alternative to d-limonene, asphaltene remediation and microemulsion formulations. Liquid NACOL Ether based on linear alcohols (C6 to C10) have high purity (> 96 %), excellent flow and low viscosity properties, are fast spreading agents, with excellent solubility and good pigment wetting properties. This is a great alternative to many silicone additives with its higher polarity than paraffins and stable pH. Solid NACOL Ether based on linear alcohols (C12 to C18) have a sharp melting profile, high latent heat, are hydrophobic, have a higher polarity than paraffins, with tunable hardness and good pigment compatibility.

MARLOWET
MARLOWET ether carboxylic acids are low foaming anionic surfactants. They are based on alcohols from C9 to C18, with different alkoxylation degrees. The MARLOWET product range is a water soluble lubricant efficient in hard water and active at extreme pH. It can be used in various applications including as a corrosion inhibitor (organic anti-corrosion agent), wetting agent, defoamer, hydrophilic emulsifier for water based metalworking fluids and exhibits high lime soap dispersing properties.
