Preservative System

DACPON 27-23 AL does not contain any preservative. DACPON 27-23 AL is not susceptible to microbial growth because own alkaline pH. If the product is stored for several weeks or months it is suggested to carry out regular check of pH value to ensure preservation towards microorganisms.

Storage and Handling
  • DACPON 27-23 AL should be stored preferably in stainless steel or fiber glass tanks.
  • DACPON 27-23 AL must be stored at temperature below 40°C. Temperature above 45°C should be avoided, even briefly, because hydrolysis may occur with formation of sulphuric acid. Storage tanks must be heated with water warmed at a temperature below 50°C. The use of steam to warm up the product is absolutely prohibited. In addiction contact with acids could cause hydrolysis as well.
  • DACPON 27-23 AL is a clear liquid at room temperature and it can be easily pumped. At room temperature
  • DACPON 27-23 AL is water soluble up to an active matter of 27% weight. Shelf-life is 12 months from production date for product in its original and sealed packaging.
