Storage and Handling
- COSMACOL AES-70-2-24 AL should be stored preferably in stainless steel or fiber glass tanks.
- COSMACOL AES-70-2-24 AL must be stored at temperature below 40°C.
- Temperature above 45°C should be avoided, even briefly, because hydrolysis may occur with formation of sulphuric acid.
- Storage tanks must be heated with water warmed at a temperature below 50°C. The use of steam to warm up the product is absolutely prohibited. In addiction contact with acids could cause hydrolysis as well.
- COSMACOL AES-70-2-24 AL is a paste that can be pumped at room temperature. In concentration between 28 and 65% COSMACOL AES-70-2-24 AL forms a high viscous gel phase.
