Sasol MP10P

Sasol MP10P is used as a solvent for magnet wire enamel coatings. These coatings act as insulators for wires that are wound around the armatures of electric motors. Storage and Handling
  • MP-Cresol 45 (P10) is stable if stored and handled according to the recommendations in the Sasol SDS and is expected to retain compliance with test properties to within specification limits.
  • Depending upon storage conditions, the product may absorb moisture from the air, darken in color over time, or leach low level metals from the storage vessel. This will be minimized, however, if the container remains sealed and the product is not exposed to air or excessive heating.
  •  It is recommended that a sample of the product be tested to confirm compliance to test specifications following prolonged storage, especially under non-ideal storage conditions.

  • Avoid contact with skin and eyes. Avoid inhalation of vapor or mist. In case of insufficient ventilation, wear suitable respiratory equipment. Wear personal protective equipment.

Requirements for storage areas and containers

  • Keep locked up.Keep contain ers tightly closed in a dry, cool and well-ventilated place.Keep away from sources of ignition - No smoking.
