Storage and Handling

Safe handling advice

Provide sufficient air exchange and/or exhaust in work rooms. All handling equipment must be properly earthed. Nonconductive materials should not be used for pipes or chutes in order to reduce the build-up of static electricity. All ducts and pipes should be properly sealed to prevent dust clouds forming. Powders should not be allowed to accumulate in working or storage areas in order to prevent dust clouds and reduce fire risk. Pneumatic conveying of fine powders is not recommended.

Advice on protection against fire and explosion

Ensure all receptables and containers are properly earthed and correctly sealed.Keep away from open flames, hot surfaces and sources of ignition.

Requirements for storage areas and containers

Keep containers tightly closed in a dry, cool and well-ventilated place.

To obtain the best performance from the product, we recommend use within 20 years from sample date on the Certificate of Analysis. Product should be stored under standard warehousing conditions, at least in a clean dry place, in its original packing at a temperature not exceeding 35°C.
