Amitose™ HGA

Amitose™ HGA, "Lightening vitamin C", is a novel stable vitamin C derivative produced by binding Vitamin C (ascrobic acid), glycerin and an alkyl group together using SEIWA KASEI's original technology. It provides excellent skin moisture but particularly excels at skin lightening. In fact, Amitose™ HGA skin lightening mechanism is the world first of its kind. First, it inhibits melanin synthesis more effectively than most ascorbic acid derivatives. Secondly, Amitose™ HGA inhibits and reverses melanin transport. Lastly, melanin is degraded by autophagy which won the 2016 Nobel Prize. Those mechanism leads to consequently supress dark spots, a truly unique mechanism in Vitamin C derivatives. Amitose™ HGA can be used in a large variety of formulae : skin toners, transparent gel-serums and emulsions such as creams. This product is preservative free water-soluble ingredient. Promois™ WK-HSIGF is a silylated derivative type of hydrolyzed keratin. It protects and repairs hair, and improves its texture by a heat enhancing effect that results in the formation of a film on the hair in response to heat from hair dryers or hair ironing. Keratin is one of the structural proteins composing the stratum corneum, hair, and nails. It makes up 80% of human hair. About its amino acid composition, it must be noted that keratin has plenty of cystine, the amino acid that forms a bond between the helix of the protein and thus provides physical resistance to the hair structure as well as moisture. This is why it is important to supply keratin regularly through hair care products. Promois™ series is a range of peptides and derivatives obtained through hydrolysis of natural proteins. Vegetamide™ 18MEA-R, "Plant-derived Liquid Cuticle" has aliphatic cationic compounds of rice peptides with hair conditioning efficacy. The F-Layer, which main component is called 18-MEA, is the barrier structure of hair cuticles, but it can be stripped off due to hair damage. Because Vegetamide™'s structure mimics the structure of the F-Layer, it can repair and restore the hair cuticles to a healthy state and improve its texture. This product is preservative free. Keratin is the one of main components of stratum corneum which protects skin against external stimulations (UV, Chemical) and keeps water in epidermis. Promois™ SILK-1000F is hydrolyzed silk protein with hair conditioning efficacy. Silk protein is formed of two proteins: fibroin and sericin. Fibroin has a unique amino acid composition. It is rich in glycine, alanine and serine which have small molecular weight and simple chemical structure. This composition is known to form a sheet structure to which is associated the comfortable touch of silk. Amitose™ DGA, "Rich-Moisturizing vitamin C", is a novel stable vitamin C derivative produced by binding Vitamin C (ascorbic acid) and two glyceryl groups using SEIWA KASEI's original technology. In addition to inhibiting melanin production it provides ultra moisture to the skin as it strenghtens the cornified cell envelope in the stratum corneum. As a non-ionic ingredient it can be used easily in gel and emuslion formulae such as creams but it is also notably recommended for transparent gel-serums, Vitamin C-rich serum and skin toners. This product is preservative free water-soluble ingredient. It is developed and manufactured in Japan by SEIWA KASEI.
