Products

SPP-25 is a low molecular weight polypropylene texturing agent. The SPP Series consists of polypropylene powders in a controlled range of particle sizes. These products are stir-in powders that can be easily dispersed under high-speed mixing in solvent, UV, or water-based inks & coatings.

Fluoro GS 125 is a free-flowing, easily dispersed PTFE micropowder. It provides friction reduction, improved wear protection, and some thickening. In our efforts to constantly improve, Shamrock has been working to develop PTFE micropowders for the grease and lubricant market. We have been determining thickening efficiency with the cone penetrometer using a 50/50 mixture in a PAO6 base oil and wear resistance according to ASTM D 2266 with the 4 Ball Tester in order to provide the industry with PTFE data that relates to grease properties.

Shamrock SST-3 Tan is a micronized, tan PTFE powder.

S-396 N1 is a finely ground, crystalline grade of polyethylene wax with a high melt point and good solvent resistance.

Made primarily from highly controlled recycled PTFE feedstocks, SST® products are used for their ability to produce slip, nonstick, water repellency, texture, release, rub, and abrasion resistance to surfaces.

Fluoro GE 100 is a high molecular weight polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) micropowder with a narrow particle size distribution. Fluoro GE designates a series of sub-micron PTFE powders made from emulsion grade virgin PTFE. This series covers a range of molecular weights which determine dispersibility, thickening and performance properties. Due to the small particle size, the GE products have a larger specific surface area when compared to other PTFE.

SST®-2P is an off-white to light gray low MW PTFE powder with a particle size mean value of 8 µm. SST® products are Shamrock’s PTFE micropowders that are defined by particle size and distribution, molecular weight, crystallinity, surface area, oil adsorption, powder flow, and color. Fluoro GT 130 is a 25-35 micron powder. Fluoro GT designates a series of PTFE micro powders made from highly crystalline, sintered PTFE. These products can be added with minimal to no change to the viscosity of the system. They impart excellent lubricity and wear resistance.

SST®-2D is a white low MW PTFE powder with a particle size mean value of 7 µm. SST®-2D has a tightly controlled particle size distribution, resulting in fewer oversized particles. SST® products are Shamrock’s PTFE micropowders that are defined by particle size and distribution, molecular weight, crystallinity, surface area, oil adsorption, powder flow, and color. Made primarily from highly controlled recycled PTFE feedstocks, SST® products are used for their ability to provide slip, nonstick, water repellency, texture, release, rub, and abrasion resistance to surfaces.

Fluoro GT 105 is a 5 micron polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) micropowder. Fluoro GT designates a series of PTFE micro powders made from highly crystalline, sintered PTFE. TexMATTE 6014 is a cross-linked polymethyl methacrylate product. Shamrock’s Texture Series consists of polyethylene, polypropylene, polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE), and PMMA (Texture-W, SPP, FluoroTEX, TexMATTE) powders in a controlled range of particle sizes. These stir in powders provide a unique feel and texture allowing for customized surface finishes.

SST®-3D is a white low MW PTFE powder with a particle size mean value of 5 µm. SST®-3D has a tightly controlled particle size distribution, resulting in fewer oversized particles. SST®-5S is a 3 µm polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) micropowder with a tightly controlled particle size distribution. SST®-5S provides optimum rub and slip performance for thin-film applications. SST® products are Shamrock’s PTFE micro powders that are defined by particle size and distribution, molecular weight, crystallinity, surface area, oil adsorption, powder flow, and color. Made primarily from highly controlled recycled PTFE feedstocks, SST® products are used for their ability to provide slip, non-stick, water repellency, texture, release, rub, and abrasion resistance to surfaces.

SPP-40 is a low molecular weight polypropylene texturing agent.

MicroFLON T-Series powders are recycled PTFE micronized to various particle sizes. MicroFLON® T-Series is based on recycled PTFE powder that offers an attractive alternative to costly virgin PTFE. As confirmed in recent independent testing, MicroFLON® T offers superior coefficient of friction and wear resistance in both nylon and polyoxymethylene when compared against virgin PTFE. Recycled PTFE also offers a significant reduction in carbon footprint relative to the use of prime PTFE.

S-394 MG is a fine particle size, polyethylene wax powder. S-394-MG is a synthetic wax with a DSC melt peak above 110°C. S-394 MG provides excellent rub/abrasion resistance to liquid inks, paste inks and thin-film coatings.

These PTFE powders are Natural Prime PTFE micronized to various particle sizes and are FDA compliant for applications requiring food contact. MicroFLON 1437FG is designed for food contact applications. These applications include: food processing, machine parts, and medical devices.

NonSKID 8001 is a combination of micronized polypropylene and PTFE. Shamrock’s NonSKID micropowders provide resistance to sliding forces.

PowderTEX 61 is an off-white free flowing polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) powder that has been treated with a higher surface area inert spacer to facilitate ease of handling.

FluoroSLIP® 893-A is a stir-in powder blend of spherical micronized polyethylene (PE) and polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE).

S-394 N5 is a polyethylene wax powder with narrow melt point temperature range and reduced solubility or use in a wide range of inks and coatings. It has a fairly high melt point, with a softening point only a few degrees lower.

MicroFLON S-Series powders are Natural Prime PTFE micronized to various particle sizes. In thermoplastics and elastomers, MicroFLON® S facilitates lubrication and wear resistance. The tight process and particle size control typical of the MicroFLON® product line allows for easy dispersion, and distribution of the product.

TexMATTE 6030 is a cross-linked polymethyl methacrylate product. MicroFLON FR – 150 is a premium grade polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) free flowing powder. This powder consists of agglomerates that can generate fibrils through thermoplastics compounding and molding that provide the Anti-Dripping capability.

S-156 is a micronized modified polyethylene wax powder used to provide rub, abrasion, and mar resistance with matting effect. Shamrock’s product line of micronized waxes provide rub and abrasion resistance. Included in this line are products that provide gloss, matting, and controlled slip in a range of particle sizes.

NanoFLON® Series powders are Natural Prime PTFE micropowder with various agglomerated particle sizes. NanoFLON® makes it easier to add key fluoropolymer properties to your product, including slip, abrasion resistance and release. The ultra-fine powders are engineered using our own proprietary process that allows easy dispersion and primary particle sizes as small as 200 nanometers

Fluoro GS 115 is a high molecular weight polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) micropowder with an average particle size between 4 and 6 µm. Fluoro GS designates a series of powders are made from unsintered, suspension grade virgin PTFE. The products in this series are characterized by the uniform, crystalline structure of PTFE with increased slip and abrasion properties.

MicroFLON S-Series powders are Natural Prime PTFE micronized to various particle sizes. In thermoplastics and elastomers, MicroFLON® S facilitates lubrication and wear resistance. The tight process and particle size control typical of the MicroFLON® product line allows for easy dispersion, and distribution of the product.

NanoFLON® 102 is a polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) powder which consists of loose agglomerates of primary particles. These ultra-fine powders are engineered using our own proprietary process that allows easy dispersion with primary particle size as small as 200 nanometers.

S-400-Q is a micronized EBS (ethylene bissteramide) wax powder showing melting peaks ranging from 108 – 146°C. Shamrock’s product line of micronized waxes provides rub and abrasion resistance. Included in this line are products that provide gloss, matting, clarity, and controlled slip in a range of particle sizes.
