NonSKID 5389 is a micronized, modified polypropylene wax. Shamrock’s NonSKID micropowders provide resistance to sliding forces. NonSKID 5389 is used in air dry, baked, and radiation coatings for aqueous, solvent, UV, and powder systems at 3-5% of total formula weight.

NonSKID 5389 is designed to impart non-skid properties in overprint varnishes. NonSKID 5389 is non-abrasive and will deform under extreme pressure to give some measure of rub resistance
