Due to its unique combination of complementary waxes, Super Taber 5509 SP5 increases the surface slip of a coating while imparting excellent abrasion resistance. It is especially effective for reducing initial wear and provides excellent resistance to Taber abrasion, falling sand abrasion, and can slide wear. Coatings: Thick-film industrial and wood coatings, particularly those with poor slip properties.
Super Taber 5509 SP5 can be easily incorporated into coatings by simple stirring. However, the use of high-speed mixing and dispersion equipment will not adversely affect the inter-coat adhesion or physical characteristics of the coating. If the slip is not required, use Shamrock's Taber Tiger 5512.
