Products

SST®-4D is a white low MW PTFE powder with a particle size mean value of 3 µm. SST®-4D has a tightly controlled particle size distribution, resulting in fewer oversized particles. SST® products are Shamrock’s PTFE micropowders that are defined by particle size and distribution, molecular weight, crystallinity, surface area, oil adsorption, powder flow, and color. Made primarily from highly controlled recycled PTFE feedstocks, SST® products are used for their ability to provide slip, non-stick, water repellency, texture, release, rub, and abrasion resistance to surfaces.

Hydrocer 135 is an aqueous amide wax dispersion.

S-400-Q is a micronized EBS (ethylene bissteramide) wax powder showing melting peaks ranging from 108 – 146°C. Shamrock’s product line of micronized waxes provides rub and abrasion resistance. Included in this line are products that provide gloss, matting, clarity, and controlled slip in a range of particle sizes.

FluoroSLIP® 533 is a blend of hydrophilic synthetic wax and PTFE where the synthetic wax shows a uniform melting range peaking at 97°C.

AquaFLON® 178G is a stable aqueous dispersion of a blend of a synthetic wax and polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE). The AquaFLON® product line is comprised of aqueous dispersions of PTFE or PTFE with wax. These products are designed for stability, pourability and easy incorporation into water-based systems. They are used as additives to provide slip and abrasion resistance.

S-363 is a synthetic wax alloy showing melting peaks ranging from 92 – 141°C. Shamrock’s product line of micronized waxes provide rub and abrasion resistance. Included in this line are products that provide gloss, matting, clarity, and controlled slip in a range of particle sizes.

SPP-10 is a low molecular weight polypropylene texturing agent. The SPP Series consists of polypropylene powders in a controlled range of particle sizes. These products are stir-in powders that can be easily dispersed under high-speed mixing in solvent, UV, or water-based inks & coatings.

SST®-4P is an off-white to light gray low MW PTFE powder with a particle size mean value of 3 µm.

FluoroSPERSE® 153V is a dispersion of polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) micropowder in a universal lithographic system. They assure good wetting, uniform composition, and avoid the handling of powder. They are available in a range of printing ink vehicles, solvents, and in combination with wax.

Hydrocer 7112 is a stable, aqueous synthetic wax dispersion. Keep the lid tight on the container to avoid separation. If this product has separated, simple mixing with paddle or propeller mixer is all that will be required. The Hydrocer products are wax emulsions, dispersions, or a combination of these.

S-375 is a synthetic wax with a DSC peak melt around 100°C and the corresponding low onset of melting. Shamrock’s product line of micronized waxes provides rub and abrasion resistance. TexMATTE 6017 is a cross-linked polymethyl methacrylate product. Shamrock’s Texture Series consists of polyethylene, polypropylene, polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE), and PMMA (Texture-W, SPP, FluoroTEX, TexMATTE) powders in a controlled range of particle sizes. These stir in powders provide a unique feel and texture allowing for customized surface finishes.

TexMATTE 6005 is a cross-linked polymethyl methacrylate product.

These PTFE powders are Natural Prime PTFE micronized to various particle sizes and are FDA compliant for applications requiring food contact. MicroFLON 1433FG is designed for food contact applications. These applications include: food processing, machine parts, and medical devices.

S-395-N5 is a synthetic wax with a DSC melt peak above 120°C, good crystallinity and high onset of melt. Shamrock’s product line of micronized waxes provide rub and abrasion resistance. S-232 MG is a micronized polyethylene-carnauba wax alloy. S-232 also is available in N1, N5 and SD3 grades.

PowderTEX 94 is a pure polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) developed as a texturing agent for powder coatings.

CeraSPERSE 174 is synthetic wax and polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) compounded in refined linseed oil. Shamrock’s CeraSPERSE products are manufactured using a controlled crystallization process that allows the production of 1 micron wax dispersions. These wax compounds have a translucent appearance with a shiny gloss and a creamy feel. In addition to our standard products, Shamrock can develop and produce a wide range of compounds on a make-to-order basis.

S-395-N2 is a synthetic wax with a DSC melt peak above 120°C, good crystallinity and high onset of melt. Shamrock’s product line of micronized waxes provide rub and abrasion resistance. S-395-SP5 is a synthetic wax with a DSC melt peak above 120°C, good crystallinity, and the high onset of melt. Shamrock’s product line of micronized waxes provides rub and abrasion resistance. Included in this line are products that provide gloss, matting, clarity, and controlled slip in a range of particle sizes.

Neptune 1-N1 is a medium MW synthetic wax treated to provide water wettability. Neptune 1-N1 is used in water-based inks and coatings. Neptune 1-N1 is used in both air dry and baked coatings.

CeraSPERSE 321BG is a compound of waxes and PTFE in Butyl Carbitol (Diethylene glycol monobutyl ether). This slow-evaporating, hydrophilic glycol ether provides improved compatibility with both polar and non-polar systems. Shamrock’s CeraSPERSE products are manufactured using a controlled crystallization process that allows the production of 1 micron wax dispersions. These wax compounds have a translucent appearance with a shiny gloss and a creamy feel. S-394 N5 is a polyethylene wax powder with narrow melt point temperature range and reduced solubility or use in a wide range of inks and coatings. It has a fairly high melt point, with a softening point only a few degrees lower.

FluoroSLIP® 893-A is a stir-in powder blend of spherical micronized polyethylene (PE) and polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE).

PowderTEX 61 is an off-white free flowing polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) powder that has been treated with a higher surface area inert spacer to facilitate ease of handling.

NonSKID 8001 is a combination of micronized polypropylene and PTFE. Shamrock’s NonSKID micropowders provide resistance to sliding forces.

SST®-1MG is a friable grade of PTFE powder which can be reduced to an average particle size of 1 – 2 microns.

FluoroSLIP® 731 MG is a combination of a high melting synthetic wax, carnauba wax, and polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) where the wax blend shows a melting peaks ranging from 84 – 110°C.
