AquaFLON® 50-RC is an aqueous dispersion of submicron polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) and is produced to be in compliance with REACH regulatory requirements. The AquaFLON® product line is comprised of aqueous dispersions of PTFE or PTFE with wax. These products are designed for stability, pourability and easy incorporation into water-based systems. They are used as additives to provide slip and abrasion resistance.

S-396 N1 is a finely ground, crystalline grade of polyethylene wax with a high melt point and good solvent resistance.

HydroCER 795 is a 52% aqueous dispersion of an oxidized polyethylene wax. The HydroCER products are wax emulsions, dispersions, or a combination of these.

CeraSPERSE 31 is carnauba wax compounded in Butyl Carbitol (Diethylene glycol monobutyl ether). This slow-evaporating, hydrophilic glycol ether provides compatibility with both polar and non-polar systems. Shamrock’s CeraSPERSE products are manufactured using a controlled crystallization process that allows the production of 1 micron wax dispersions. These wax compounds have a translucent appearance with a shiny gloss and a creamy feel. In addition to our standard products, Shamrock can develop and produce a wide range of compounds on a make-to-order basis.

NonSKID 59 is a micronized, modified polypropylene wax. Shamrock's NonSKID micropowders provide resistance to sliding forces.

NonSKID 5389 is a micronized, modified polypropylene wax. Shamrock’s NonSKID micropowders provide resistance to sliding forces. NonSKID 5389 is used in air dry, baked, and radiation coatings for aqueous, solvent, UV, and powder systems at 3-5% of total formula weight.

CeraSPERSE 171 is a synthetic wax compounded in refined linseed oil. Shamrock’s CeraSPERSE products are manufactured using a controlled crystallization process that allows the production of 1 micron wax dispersions. HydroCER 8481 is a stable, non-ionic aqueous synthetic wax emulsion. The HydroCER products are wax emulsions, dispersions, or a combination of these.

S-394 N5 is a polyethylene wax powder with narrow melt point temperature range and reduced solubility or use in a wide range of inks and coatings. It has a fairly high melt point, with a softening point only a few degrees lower.

S-156 is a micronized modified polyethylene wax powder used to provide rub, abrasion, and mar resistance with matting effect. Shamrock’s product line of micronized waxes provide rub and abrasion resistance. Included in this line are products that provide gloss, matting, and controlled slip in a range of particle sizes.

S-394 MG is a fine particle size, polyethylene wax powder. S-394-MG is a synthetic wax with a DSC melt peak above 110°C. S-394 MG provides excellent rub/abrasion resistance to liquid inks, paste inks and thin-film coatings.

FluoroSPERSE® 7908 is dark colored dispersion of polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) micropowder in a general use lithographic varnish. They assure good wetting, uniform composition, and avoid the handling of powder. They are available in a range of printing ink vehicles, solvents, and in combination with wax.

S-232 MG is a micronized polyethylene-carnauba wax alloy. S-232 also is available in N1, N5 and SD3 grades.

S-256-N1 is a carnauba and synthetic wax alloy showing melting peaks ranging from 95 – 113°C. Shamrock’s product line of micronized waxes provide rub and abrasion resistance.
