STEPANOL MG provides excellent detergency and high foam. STEPANOL MG is also a low viscosity product with good water solubility and good electrolyte tolerance. STEPANOL MG is used in detergent and personal care applications including shampoos, bubble baths, bath soaps, personal cleansers, hand dishwash detergents, general cleaners, rug shampoos and upholstery cleaners.

Storage & Handling
- Storage & Handling
- Normal safety precautions (i.e., gloves and safety goggles) should be employed when handling STEPANOL MG. Contact with eyes, nose or prolonged contact with skin should be avoided. Wash thoroughly after handling material.
- It is recommended that STEPANOL MG be stored in sealed containers and kept at temperatures between 60°F (16°C) and 110°F (43.3°C). Liquipak drums are recommended for storage of STEPANOL MG. Avoid overheating or freezing. If material is frozen, mild heat and agitation are recommended to ensure the material is homogeneous before use.
- Bulk Storage Information: Tanks made of 316 stainless steel or fiberglass with a corrosion liner are recommended. Mild agitation is recommended while storing to maintain homogeneity. Recommended storage for bulk tanks is between 90 - 110°F (32-43.3°C). An internal hairpin coil of 316 stainless steel with low pressure steam (under 50 psig) should be used if heating is required. Pumps, pipes and transfer lines should be 316 stainless steel.
