LIOPUR 2004-140 gives good flow behavior and, as a result of its good adhesion combined with elasticity and flexibility, is highly suitable for coating wood,. In addition, in combination with self-crosslinking acrylate dispersions like Liocryl AS 680, LIOPUR 2004-140 is suitable for 1C N-Methylpyrrolidone-free wood finishes, especially parquet floor sealants, owing to its good abrasion values (Taber abraser). Due to its high flexibility Liopur 2004-140 is suitable for 1C NMP-free cork lacquers with good impact in combination with Liocryl AM 951. Liopur 2004-140 is also suitable for NMP-free and solventfree 2C parquet lacquers in combination with waterdilutable polyisocyanates in a ratio of 10:1. Films based on Liopur 2004-140 have the following properties after drying for 5 days at room temperature, determined by a Zwick materials test (pre-selected force 1N, test rate 100 mm/min ): Tensile strength approx. 1,5 N/mm2 Elongation at Fmax approx. 400 %

Technical Details & Test Data

Film Properties

Films of the dispersion are transparent and tack-free, with sufficient hardness, high flexibility and elasticity. Due to its low minimum film forming temperature Liopur 2004-140 does not need any coalescence agent for filmforming at room temperature. Therefore you can combine it with Acrylic emulsions with high Tg like Liocryl AS 680 and AS 615. Films based on LIOPUR 2004-140 display very good water resistance and good resistance to ethanol .
