After air-drying, film coatings based on LIOPUR PFL 1154 transparent films which are tack-free and exhibit good surface hardness.
Films based on LIOPUR PFL 1154 are distinguished by high toughness and resilience and tear strength. Owing to its very high abrasion resistance and its excellent chemical resistance, LIOPUR PFL 1154 can be used in combination with water-emulsifiable polyisocyanates for air-drying, aqueous, 2-pack parquet floor varnishes. Compared with other 2-pack dispersions, LIOPUR PFL 1154 is distinguished by good grain enhancement of the wood for water-thinnable formulations. LIOPUR PFL 1154 contains NCO-reactive groups, so that a binder/hardener ratio of 100 : 10 can be recommended on the basis of our applicational tests. Two-pack formulations based on LIOPUR PFL 1154 and polyisocyanate which has been made water-miscible are distinguished by simple manual incorporation of the hardener component into the base paint, so that these formulations are also suitable for DIY applications.- Properties and Fields of use
