The company has passed through four generations of the Case-Green family and is now led by three of Sidney’s great grandchildren: Sallie Charman, Stephen Case-Green, and Rob Case-Green.</p><h2>What we do</h2><p>British Wax’s two core strengths are sourcing and supplying the best natural waxes, and formulating specialist wax blends. With our experience in manufacturing and formulating technical waxes, our aim is to supply the right product for the right purpose at the right price.</p><p>We can also work with you to find or develop a wax specific to your requirements; and if something is beyond our remit, we can point you in the right direction.</p><h2>How we work</h2><p>We have a strong sense of responsibility to our people, whether employees, customers or suppliers, as well as to our wider environment. British Wax is passionate about developing and manufacturing the most comprehensive range of Natural Candle Wax blends for every candle makers needs. We focus on sourcing 100% natural, fully sustainable, ethical, high quality raw materials to incorporate into our proprietary BW blends.  We are the only wax manufacturer in the UK producing certified organic candle waxes.  This provides you with the reassurance that our supply chains are traceable, replenishable and ensures quality is maintained between batches, this means you can produce sustainable high quality candles every batch. British Wax mixes and blends special formulations for candle brands and makers. We work closely with our customers to meet their particular needs for better fragrance throw, glass adhesion, a smooth finish etc. The breadth of the BW natural range means you can find the wax that works for you and provides the great performance you want to achieve. Batik Wax 932 is a blend of bleached natural beeswax and fully refined paraffin wax which does not contain residual solvent. It has not been tested on animals by ourselves or on our behalf.

Carnauba Wax – Type 4 is darker in color, suitable for industrial applications, dark polishes and coatings. Carnauba Wax is obtained from the leaves of the ‘Copernica Cerifera’ palm tree. The color and quality of this product are determined by the age of the leaves and the process of extraction.

Carnauba Wax – Type 3 is commonly used in cosmetics, polishes, protective coatings and lubricants. Carnauba Wax is obtained from the leaves of the ‘Copernica Cerifera’ palm tree. The color and quality of this product are determined by the age of the leaves and the process of extraction.

Slush Casting Wax, Medium is a high quality, medium casting wax for lost wax casting. It casts easily, withstands handling when cold without cracking and it burns out cleanly. This is a medium hardness, general purpose slush casting wax. It shows good air release properties and a degree of flexibility to allow easy removal from the mold and provides excellent reproduction of detail. Like all our casting waxes, our medium slush casting wax is formulated to leave minimal to no residue.

Slush Casting Wax - Summer, Hard is a high-quality, hard casting wax for lost wax casting. It casts easily, withstands handling when cold without cracking and it burns out cleanly. This wax is firm so can be carved, this is ideal for pouring and painting into molds (slushing) and centrifugal casting. Formulated for high precision work and the ability to reproduce the finest small detail, our hard slush casting wax can be used in summer or whenever the environmental temperature proves to be challenging for soft waxes. This wax can be blended with other casting waxes, like our soft and medium slush casting waxes, to achieve the desired consistency.

Premium Natural Candle Wax 4351 is a Soy, Rapeseed and Beeswax blend for container candles that is ideally suited for high end container candles. It delivers a great scent throw hot and cold. Premium Natural Candle Wax 4351 is manufactured by British Wax in the UK. The higher setting temperature helps to speed up candle production and enables single-pour in most cases, resulting in a level surface with excellent adhesion. 4352 is a viable option for color inclusion.

SFX Gel Wax is for Special Effects and is easily melted and molded clear. You’ll be able to create impressive props, including body parts, long term food displays, ice cubes, etc. This is due to our wax being a dimensionally stable, jelly/gel-like material. Sometimes used instead of silicone rubber, Gel Wax is a specially formulated medium for all those special effects were you need a substance resembling jelly. Using wax on set adds consistency to the filming, it’s practical, and eliminates the risk of spillage or melting.

BioCERE is an Organic Container Candle Wax. The Organic status is achieved by blending certified organic renewable waxes and oils, including beeswax (which encourages biodiversity). BioCERE is obviously free of pesticides and GMOs. The vegetable part of the blend includes organic palm, carnauba and coconut. The organic palm is RSPO Identity Preserved (the highest level of cerification). A good proportion of the land used to grow the palm has been converted from cattle pasture. BioCERE is the organic candle wax you need to produce a truly organic container or massage candle.
