In 1989, a newly formed The Dallas Group of America, Inc. was established as a spin-off and grew into a diversified manufacturer of basic and specialty chemicals. DALSORB® 2500M is a pure white, odorless powder designed to remove the impurities which form in edible oils during industrial frying processes. Its narrow particle size distribution results in superior filtration characteristics. DALSORB® 2500M is acceptable to the FDA for filtration of used frying oils.

DALSORB® F50 is a synthetic, amorphous, hydrous form of magnesium silicate consisting of a fine, pure white, odorless, tasteless powder that is manufactured to meet the specifications for synthetic magnesium silicate of the Food Chemicals Codex, the National Formulary, the FAO/WHO JECFA Specifications for Identity and Purity, and EU Commission Directive. With a porous internal structure and enormous activated surface, DALSORB® products are recommended for industrial frying applications to remove impurities formed during the frying process. Their narrow particle size distributions result in superior filtration characteristics.

MAGNESOL® HMR-LS is a synthetic magnesium silicate adsorbent designed for deep purification of polyols which are generally used in the production of urethane polymers. Purification of polyols by adsorption using synthetic magnesium silicate is widely recognized as the most effective way to produce high quality polyols. Synthetic magnesium silicate is an amorphous material with high pore volume and active surface area. Due to the unique structure and surface chemistry, MAGNESOL® magnesium silicate adsorbents can selectively and very efficiently remove alkali metal catalysts, as well as other polar compounds from various polyols and surfactants. High adsorptivity and excellent filtration characteristics permit these adsorbents to be easily used in industrial conditions.

MAGNESOL® products are ideal for use as adsorbents, anti-static flow agents, anti-caking agents, catalyst supports, carriers, and reinforcing fillers. Being synthetically produced, it is amorphous and, thus, contains no crystalline silica. DALSORB® 3000M is a pure-white, odorless powder designed to remove the polar impurities which form in edible oils during frying processes used in the production of all food types.
