VertecBio™ offers a full line of bio-based, safe solvents, derived from renewable resources, and solvent blends that provide high performance as formulating ingredients, carrier solvents and/or cleaning solvents.


VertecBio

VertecBio™ ELSOL® BCR is a 100% biobased replacement for Butyl Cellosolve. It features better cleaning power and reduced solvent usage vs. Butyl Cellosolve. Vertecbio™ ELSOL® BCR has excellent solvency for paint and coating formulations. This precision cleaning solvent dries completely and leaves no residue. It is ideal for use in industrial coatings applications, primarily in coil, extrusion, wood furniture and fixtures, containers and closures, automotive finishes and machinery.

NMP’s largest uses are in industrial coatings applications, industrial cleaning and surface
preparation applications. For coatings formulators looking to replace petroleum based
solvents with a bio-based, sustainable alternative, VertecBio ELSOL NMPR blend is an
ideal replacement for NMP in a wide array of coatings formulations and cleaning
applications.

VertecBio™ ELSOL® NMPR

VertecBio™ Citrus - I20 is an excellent cleaner for epoxy, polyurethane and other resins. It has an excellent solvency for paints, coatings and inks. It cleans out oily materials, adhesives and inks, and is ideal for flushing paint lines, or cleaning spray guns and paint booths. VertecBio Citrus - I20 serves as a cost effective alternative to d-Limonene, and offers the same high-powered cleaning power with a mild and pleasant odor.

VertecBio™ ELSOL® NMPR3 is a bio-based replacement for N-methyl pyrrolidone (NMP), with a versatile solvent blend for formulating, and an ideal solvency for paint, coating, and ink formations.

VertecBio™ ELSOL® NMPR3

With the current imperative for Green House Gas (GHG) reduction a renewable-based cleaning solvent is an appropriate solution for tough cleaning in an industrial or institutional environment. VertecBio™ Clean ECO-Solv is a blend of bio-based solvents that provide excellent cleaning properties, dries quickly, and provides a clean, non-residue surface. Ideal for dilution in a hot water spray at time of use. Additionally, based on an interaction with a water rinse, VertecBio™ Clean ECO-Solv provides bacteriostatic performance to the cleaned surface, inhibiting the growth of biofilm. Based on these results, it is an excellent choice for cleaning agricultural, dairy, and food-related equipment. VertecBio™ Clean ECO-Solv is a very good alternative to the use of Isopropyl Alcohol for cleaning. Isopropyl Alcohol’s largest uses are in industrial coatings applications, primarily in coil, extrusion, wood furniture and fixtures, containers and closures, automotive finishes and machinery.

VertecBio Gold® #4 is a technical grade methyl soyate, ideal for formulating hand cleaners, mastic/adhesive removers, asphalt release agents and industrial cleaners. This VertecBio Gold® is 100% methyl soyate. Flash point over 200º F, and less than 5% VOCs.

VertecBio™ DLR is a biobased replacement for d-limonene made from green, carbon neutral, sustainable chemistry that is biodegradable. It is an EPA approved SNAP solvent that contains no HAPS, and no environmentally hazardous chemicals.  It is a completely safe, non-toxic and non carcinogenic alternative to high priced d-limonene.

VertecBio™ DLR

VertecBio™ ELSOL® CXR is a 100% biobased replacement for Cyclohexanone. This cleaning solvent leaves no residue, and is an excellent solvency for paints, coatings and inks formulations. VertecBio™ ELSOL® CXR is ideal for use in industrial coatings application.

MIBK’s largest use is in industrial coatings application, industrial cleaning and surface preparation applications. For coatings formulators looking to replace HAPS (Hazardous Air Pollutant Solvents) with a biobased, sustainable, HAPS free alternative, VertecBio™ ELSOL® KTR2 is an ideal replacement for MIBK in a wide array of coatings formulations.
