- Key Benefits
- Excellent water-miscibility and self-emulsifying of BBIT (micro emulsion)
- High efficiency against typical fungi and yeast
- Stable at high temperatures and metalworking fluid-relevant pH-levels (> 7)
- Easy dosing at the recommended use-concentration 150 – 1500 ppm (= 37.5ppm - 300 ppm BBIT)
- No formation of BBIT-agglomerates (safe to use do formation of micro emulsion)
- pH in use concentration = 6 - 7.5
- Low foaming tendency (comparable to grotanol FF 1 N)
- No labelling within the recommended use concentrations (> 0.5% = EUH208* EUH210**)
- Applicable in clear solutions (fully synthetic MWF) and emul- sions (semi synthetic + mineral oil based MWF)
- For lubricant concentrates/post-treatments

- Application Notes
Vinkocide® BB WM is a customised fungicide for use in metalworking fluids. When added to water, it quickly forms a clear solution (microemulsion). It is compatible and effective in a pH range of 2 - 12.
Vinkocide® BB WM is easy to dose. Experience shows that compatibility with most products and raw materials is good, but we recommend testing compatibility in individual formulations. For normal use, following concentrations (% w/w) are sufficient:
- MWF post-treatment: 0.0375 - 0.1%
- MWF concentrates: 0.8 - 2.00%
Treatments with less than 0.5% Vinkocide® BB WM are not subject to labelling. The EUH208 and EUH210 are only triggered above this threshold.
