Vinkocide® ECO 26

Vinkocide® ECO 26 is a formulation containing 5-chloro-2-methyl-isothiazol-3-one (CMIT), 2-methyl-2H-isothiazol-3-one (MIT), and formaldehyde. It penetrates microorganism cells, disrupting vital functions to prevent microbial adaptation. With broad antimicrobial spectrum, it's highly effective against bacteria, fungi, and yeasts, including Gram-negative bacteria. Suitable for aqueous systems, it offers cost-effective preservation with rapid action. Additionally, its formaldehyde content provides headspace protection in can preservation. Compatible with most products, it ensures excellent long-term efficacy and is ideal for various industrial applications such as liquid-cooling systems and slime control.

  • Preservatives for products during storage: Products used for the preservation of manufactured products, other than foodstuffs, feedingstuffs, cosmetics or medicinal products or medical devices by the control of microbial deterioration to ensure their shelf life. Products used as preservatives for the storage or use of rodenticide, insecticide or other baits.
  • Preservatives for liquid-cooling and processing systems: Products used for the preservation of water or other liquids used in cooling and processing systems by the control of harmful organisms such as microbes, algae and mussels.
