It significantly improves the weathering resistance of the coating compared to organic amine curing agents. SILRES® SY 409 is a solution of methylphenyl group-containing silicone resin that is recommended as a binder for medium- or high-solids heat-resistant paints in combination with other organic resins. It is highly suitable for introducing a compatible silicone component into other binder systems to increase their weathering or heat resistance.

WACKER® Silicate TES 40 WN is an ethyl silicate polymer. It is a low-viscosity liquid that provides approximately 41% of silicon dioxide (silica) upon complete hydrolysis. WACKER® Silicate TES 40 WN is used for the precipitation of polymeric SiO2 structures (silica) upon complete hydrolysis, with ethanol being produced as a by-product.

SILESTER® XAR is a ready-to-use, prehydrolyzed ethyl silicate hybrid binder. The solvent used in SILESTER® XAR is a blend of ethanol and 2-propanol. This product is conveniently prepared and can be directly utilized in the production of ceramic slips, ramming mixes, and anticorrosion paints without any further processing steps.

WACKER® L 655 is a crosslinking aminoalkyl functional polydimethylsiloxane. Unlike conventional polydimethylsiloxanes in the WACKER® AK series, WACKER® L 655 demonstrates exceptional affinity to various surfaces.
