ELASTOSIL® M silicone rubber has been the ideal solution for the production of molds that are highly elastic and have excellent release properties and optimum durability. These invaluable processing properties make ELASTOSIL® M indispensable, to both industrial and artisan mold makers.

ELASTOSIL® M

SILFAR® is the name of WACKER’s range of silicone-based products specifically intended for the pharmaceutical and food industries, as well as for use in fermentation and other biotech processes. SILFAR® products feature outstanding chemical resistance. They are not resorbed in the digestive tract, and are therefore not metabolized. They are colorless and odorless.

WACKER’s CAVAQ10® is a highly bioavailable coenzyme Q10 powder. This fat-soluble, vitamin-like substance is a known antioxidant. Coenzyme Q10 has been associated with improved cardiovascular health and supporting optimum fuctioning of the cardiac muscle. However, many commercial products do not offer adequate bioavailability. WACKER’s cyclodextrin-encapsulated CAVAQ10® powder, by contrast, has an 18-fold higher bioavailability compared to other CoQ10 products.

CAVAMAX® is the trade name for cyclodextrins from WACKER. We are the only company in the world to manufacture all three naturally occurring cyclodextrins – α, β and γ (CAVAMAX® W6, W7 and W8). CAVAMAX® cyclodextrins have unique properties resulting in a wide range of functionalities, such as stabilization, rheology control, masking of bitterness or increasing bioavailability and much more. This paves the way for innovative food, pharma and industrial applications.

BELSIL® is an extensive range of premium-grade silicones intended specifically for personal care applications, and more especially for hair care, skin care, color cosmetics, and deodorants. BELSIL® products are developed and manufactured in the highest quality and with utmost care, ensuring that the formulations are highly efficient and reliable. With BELSIL®, you can tailor your hair-care or skin-care formulations or color cosmetics to obtain end products that are not only competitive but also meet the needs of the market.

CAVACURMIN® is a highly bioavailable curcumin complex that is around 40 times more efficiently absorbed than standard turmeric extract. The complexation with the naturally occurring oligasaccharide gamma-cyclodextrin results in a free-flowing, easily dispersible powder.

VINNAPAS® EP 707K (NJG) offers excellent elongation, water resistance, and flexibility. It boasts the fastest setting speed among the VINNAPAS® EP product lines. Thanks to its low viscosity and rapid setting speed, VINNAPAS® EP 707K (NJG) is highly suitable for high-speed packaging machine applications.

ELASTOSIL® LR 3005/40 A/B is a liquid silicone rubber of the ELASTOSIL® LR 3005 series. It is a paste-like, easily pigmentable, two-component compound with short curing times. The vulcanizates of this product are renowned for their high transparency as well as their exceptional mechanical and electrical properties. Due to the excellent compression set, there is no need to post-cure technical parts.

WACKER® AK 100 is a linear, non-reactive polydimethylsiloxane with a viscosity of approximately 100 mm²/s. Its chemical structure gives it an exceptional property profile that distinguishes it from organic materials like mineral oils. It has a high flash point, demonstrating its resistance to ignition. It also exhibits high heat resistance and good solubility in a wide range of solvents.

SEMICOSIL® 920 LT A/B is a pourable, addition-curing, two-part silicone rubber that cures to a soft silicone gel. It has a 1:1 mixing ratio and exhibits very low viscosity, making it easy to handle and process. This product offers fast curing and forms a soft gel during vulcanization. SEMICOSIL® 920 LT A/B maintains almost constant properties within a wide temperature range, from -100 °C to +200 °C. Additionally, it has a low ion content, ensuring high purity in applications.

HDK® V15 is a standard synthetic, hydrophilic, amorphous silica produced via flame hydrolysis. It is a white colloidal powder of high purity commonly used in various industrial applications. HDK® V15 finds its application as a thickening and thixotropic agent in silicone sealants. Additionally, it is used as a reinforcing filler in elastomers, particularly silicone elastomers.

ELASTOSIL® LR 3016/65 A/B is a liquid silicone rubber. It is a paste-like, readily pigmentable, two-component compound with a short curing time. Its vulcanizates are noted for their high oil resistance. It is off-white and has moderate mechanical properties. Thanks to the excellent compression set, there is no need to post-cure technical parts.

SILPURAN® 6700/40 A/B is a paste-like, easily pigmentable two-component compound with a very short curing time and good mechanical and electrical properties. Its vulcanizates are noted for their self-adhesive properties on various substrates. SILPURAN® 6700/40 A/B is designed for medical applications in compliance with the Wacker Silicones Health Care Policy, including implantation for less than 30 days.

ELASTOSIL® R Plus 4020/70 MH is a one-component, high consistency silicone rubber designed for the manufacture of molded articles. The cured articles demonstrate exceptional tear resistance and high transparency. This fast-curing silicone rubber also exhibits excellent tear resistance properties. The addition cure process ensures a significantly faster vulcanization reaction compared to peroxide curing materials. Additionally, it is important to note that no peroxide decomposition products are formed during the vulcanization process.

ELASTOSIL® Color Paste FL Yellow RAL 1026 F is a ready-to-use masterbatch that contains specific pigments and reactive silicone polymers. It is commonly used for producing ELASTOSIL® liquid silicone rubber. This color paste enables homogeneous covulcanization without significantly affecting the physical properties, such as hardness, and without the risk of migration often seen in systems based on silicone oil.

WACKER® L 655 is a crosslinking aminoalkyl functional polydimethylsiloxane. Unlike conventional polydimethylsiloxanes in the WACKER® AK series, WACKER® L 655 demonstrates exceptional affinity to various surfaces. When exposed to atmospheric humidity or reactive polish actives like acid waxes, WACKER® L 655 undergoes crosslinking, resulting in the formation of a stable and insoluble polymer film. This film exhibits outstanding substrate affinity and resistance to detergents.

WACKER® L 654 is a solvent-based system that comprises a reactive polydimethylsiloxane and an aminoalkyl functional polydimethylsiloxane. The curing rate and film flexibility of WACKER® L 654 can be adjusted to meet specific requirements by combining it with the non-reactive WACKER® L 656.
