ELASTOSIL® M

SILFAR® is the name of WACKER’s range of silicone-based products specifically intended for the pharmaceutical and food industries, as well as for use in fermentation and other biotech processes. SILFAR® products feature outstanding chemical resistance. They are not resorbed in the digestive tract, and are therefore not metabolized. They are colorless and odorless.

WACKER’s CAVAQ10® is a highly bioavailable coenzyme Q10 powder. This fat-soluble, vitamin-like substance is a known antioxidant. Coenzyme Q10 has been associated with improved cardiovascular health and supporting optimum fuctioning of the cardiac muscle. However, many commercial products do not offer adequate bioavailability. WACKER’s cyclodextrin-encapsulated CAVAQ10® powder, by contrast, has an 18-fold higher bioavailability compared to other CoQ10 products.

CAVAMAX® is the trade name for cyclodextrins from WACKER. We are the only company in the world to manufacture all three naturally occurring cyclodextrins – α, β and γ (CAVAMAX® W6, W7 and W8). CAVAMAX® cyclodextrins have unique properties resulting in a wide range of functionalities, such as stabilization, rheology control, masking of bitterness or increasing bioavailability and much more. This paves the way for innovative food, pharma and industrial applications.

BELSIL® is an extensive range of premium-grade silicones intended specifically for personal care applications, and more especially for hair care, skin care, color cosmetics, and deodorants. BELSIL® products are developed and manufactured in the highest quality and with utmost care, ensuring that the formulations are highly efficient and reliable. With BELSIL®, you can tailor your hair-care or skin-care formulations or color cosmetics to obtain end products that are not only competitive but also meet the needs of the market.

CAVACURMIN® is a highly bioavailable curcumin complex that is around 40 times more efficiently absorbed than standard turmeric extract. The complexation with the naturally occurring oligasaccharide gamma-cyclodextrin results in a free-flowing, easily dispersible powder.

VINNAPAS® EF 3777 is an aqueous polymer dispersion formulated with vinyl acetate and ethylene. It is produced without the use of alkyl phenol ethoxylate (APEO) compounds, organic solvents, or plasticizers. Thanks to its low volatile organic compound (VOC) content, VINNAPAS® EF 3777 is well-suited for manufacturing low-emission products.

VINNAPAS® EF 8300 is an aqueous dispersion of a vinyl acetate-ethylene (VAE) copolymer. It was specifically formulated as a high-performance polymer for interior architectural coating formulations, offering environmental advantages. This technology serves as an alternative to various other technologies, including vinyl acrylic/acrylic blends, vinyl acrylics with wet adhesion, and pure acrylics.

VINNAPAS® EF 539 is an aqueous dispersion of a vinyl acetate-ethylene (VAE) copolymer. It was specifically formulated as an environmentally friendly binder for intermediate-grade caulk formulations. The manufacturing process excludes the use of alkylphenol ethoxylates (APEOs), ensuring a reduced environmental impact. No formaldehyde or formaldehyde donors are intentionally added to this product. Furthermore, VINNAPAS® EF 539 has a low glass transition temperature (Tg), which contributes to its desirable performance characteristics.

PULPSIL® 955 S is a hydrolytically stable silicone surfactant that is water-dispersible and consists of a polyethermodified silicone fluid. It has been specifically designed for use in the pulp and paper industry. This product significantly improves the efficiency of paper deaerators, enhances the drainage and deaeration processes in pulp production, and acts as a booster for pulp defoamers beyond their cloud point.

PULPSIL® 160 C is a highly viscous silicone antifoam compound, specifically designed for use in pulp mills. It is resistant to alkaline conditions and does not contain solvents or water. PULPSIL® 160 C offers excellent handling, long-term efficiency, and knock-down efficiency.

PULPSIL® 814 E is a medium-viscosity, low-concentrated, highly effective silicone antifoam emulsion, specifically developed for use in pulp mills. It acts primarily as an antifoam agent and drainage aid and can be added at various stages during the manufacturing process. PULPSIL® 814 E is characterized by its excellent long-term efficiency and knock-down efficiency, particularly in aggressive black liquors. It offers high performance even at low dosages.

HDK® N20P is a hydrophilic, synthetic, amorphous silica produced through flame hydrolysis. It is a standard product widely used in various industrial applications. HDK® N20P is commonly applied in the electronics industry as a white colloidal powder of high purity.

VINNAPAS® 323 is a vinyl acetate-ethylene copolymer dispersion stabilized with polyvinyl alcohol and has a glass transition temperature (Tg) of +23 °C. It is specifically developed as a fast-setting and high-heat-resistant dispersion, offering compatibility with fully hydrolyzed PVOH. VINNAPAS® 323 is designed as a base for high-speed packaging applications. It demonstrates excellent wet tack, fast setting properties, and a moderate response to plasticizer thickening.

VINNAPAS® EP 3036 NJG is a high-viscosity, low formaldehyde, and low-free VAM residue vinyl acetate-ethylene copolymer dispersion. This emulsion contains no solvent or plasticizer, has a very low VOC content, and does not contain alkylphenol polyoxyethylene ether (APEO). VINNAPAS® EP 3036 NJG is chemically stable at both high and low pH. It is compatible with other materials in the coating formulation as well as the other VINNAPAS® EP dispersions.

SILRES® BS 17040 A is a water-thinnable, solventless silane emulsion that serves as a high-quality water repellent for impregnating and priming alkaline mineral surfaces. Similar to SILRES® BS 17040, it can be used as a water-resisting admixture for non-load-bearing manufactured concrete products.

SILRES® 604 is a flaked silicone resin that exhibits good compatibility with organic resins. It is primarily used as a pure binder in various applications. It is supplied as a solvent-free solid resin. One of the key applications of SILRES® 604 is as a base material for powder coatings. It is particularly suitable for heat-resistant formulations that can withstand temperatures up to 650 °C. Furthermore, when used in white formulations, SILRES® 604 can maintain its color stability up to temperatures as high as 270 °C without significant yellowing. The ability of SILRES® 604 to act as a pure binder and its high-temperature resistance make it a valuable component in the formulation of heat-resistant powder coatings.

SILRES® 610 is a hard, solid silicone resin containing methyl groups. It is supplied in the form of solid flakes. A typical application is its use as a binder for high-temperature-resistant coatings after being dissolved in a suitable solvent. SILRES® 610 is utilized as a binder in coatings, offering a combination of heat resistance and weathering resistance. Additionally, it dries quickly, resulting in a film that is free from tackiness.

SILRES® 64558 VP is a toluene-based, ready-to-use formulation based on polysiloxanes and silicone resins. The product is preferably used as a binder in highly flexible composite tapes or as an intermediate to manufacture silicone pressure-sensitive adhesive (PSA) formulations. In composite tapes, SILRES® 64558 VP contributes to the tapes' excellent electrical insulation properties and outstanding long-term heat resistance. Besides, composite tapes made with SILRES® 64558 VP are highly stable against environmental impacts such as moisture, pollutants, and UV light, allowing them to be exposed continuously to constantly changing climatic conditions or UV radiation.

SILRES® BS 1306 is a solventless, water-thinnable emulsion of polysiloxane modified with functional silicone resin. It can also be used as a water-repellent primer, in which case it should be diluted with water at a ratio of 1 part SILRES® BS 1306 to 9 parts water. If the primer is required to strengthen the substrate, we recommend adding a polymer dispersion in hydrosol form.

SILRES® BS 1316 is used undiluted as a water-repellent primer and impregnating agent for normal and reinforced concrete. It is a mixture of isomeric octyltrimethoxysilanes, with isooctyltrimethoxysilane as the main component. SILRES® BS 1316 is specifically recommended as a water-repellent impregnating agent and primer for normal and reinforced concrete in various applications such as bridges, roads, and buildings.

SILRES® BS 1346 is a nonionic, solvent-free, water-dilutable emulsion of a reactive polysiloxane. It is used in its undiluted form as a hydrophobizing additive for aqueous masonry paints or plasters. Its purpose is to increase water repellency, water resistance, and water vapor permeability while also enhancing processability and antiblocking properties.

SILRES® BS 1360 is a nonionic, solvent-free, water-dilutable emulsion of a reactive polysiloxane. It can be added in undiluted form to aqueous masonry protection agents either during or after their production. Similar to SILRES® BS 1346, SILRES® BS 1360 is used undiluted as a hydrophobizing additive for aqueous masonry paints. Its primary functions are to enhance water repellency, water resistance, water vapor permeability, processability, and anti-blocking properties.
