SILRES® BS 280 CF is particularly recommended for the conservation of monuments and the restoration of natural stone buildings thanks to its all-round effectiveness and excellent alkali resistance. Good results are also achieved when SILRES® BS 280 CF is used to treat mineral plasters, bricks, sand-lime bricks, aerated concrete and mineral paint.
Dilution
- SILRES® BS 280 CF should be diluted in a ratio of 1:11 (parts by weight).
- SILRES® BS 280 CF can be diluted with aliphatic and aromatic hydrocarbons or with anhydrous alcohol. We would especially recommend the use of petroleum hydrocarbons such as white spirit. Alcohols should be used only in special cases, e. g. where contact with materials affected by solvents, such as polystyrene, bitumen etc. cannot be avoided during impregnation.
