Calcium carbonate-filled polypropylene compounds have been tailored specifically to meet the requirements of each of the major automobile producers. Grades are available to meet FDA food and drug packaging requirements. These products have excellent mold detail and surface reproduction with fast set-up times. They are also available in an array of colors.

Washington Penn Homopolymer Polypropylene 50% Calcium Carbonate Filled

UV Stabilized, Injection molding grade. Applications includes High flow for thin wall parts requiring long-flow. Outdoor furniture.

Washington Penn PPH4CF2.5 Polypropylene, 25% Calcium Carbonate Filled

Fiberglass &amp; mineral-reinforced polypropylene compounds provide excellent tensile and impact properties. Mold shrinkage is similar to ABS and polystyrene. Compounds also have dimensional stability. The glass-reinforcement provides a better strength and modulus than any of the particulate mineral fillers.
