VIVAPUR® Alginate FD 127 is a sodium alginate in form of a brown fine granule. With the addition of higher valent ions (e.g. Ca2+) it can be used to form gels or biobased and transparent films, which provide oil and oxygen barrier properties. VIVAPUR® Pectin HS RV is a water solvable pectin with a high degree of methoxylation in form of a beige powder. It can be used to form a thermo-stable gel under acidic conditions in the presence of high sugar concentrations.
