CELOCELL™ HEC 350 L(B) is a nonionic cellulose derivative that dissolves readily in water, either cold or hot. It is used to produce solutions having a wide range of viscosity. Such solutions are pseudoplastic, that is, they vary in viscosity depending upon the amount of stress applied. CELOCELL™ HEC as a thickener, protective colloid, binder, stabilizer and suspending agent in a variety of industrial applications, such as water-based paints, adhesives, emulsion polymers, toothpaste, cosmetics and building products.

SiSiB® FS-0250 Fumed Silica is a hydrophilic fumed silica with a specific surface area of 250 m2/g. Hydrophilic fumed silica is manufactured by hydrolysing volatile chlorosilanes in an oxyhydrogen flame. In chemical terms, the loose white powder consists of highly pure amorphous silicon dioxide. Hydrophilic silica is wetted by water and can be dispersed in water. Hydrophobic silica is produced by the chemical reaction of hydrophilic silica with reactive silanes, e.g. chlorosilanes or hexamethyldisilazane. It has water-repellent properties and is no longer dispersible in water.

These particles are surface coated with fatty acid to improve dispersion property at the mixing. Viscoexcel-30 is developed and designed as calcium type rheologicalmodifier. West System 407-B Low-Density, 14 lb is a blended microballoon-based fairing filler for WEST SYSTEM Epoxy. Add 407 to a mixture of epoxy resin/hardener to create a fairing putty. It’s easy to sand or carve this putty once it has cured. The filler is reasonably strong on a strength-to-weight basis. You can blend it into any WEST SYSTEM 105 Resin/20X Hardener combination, G/flex Epoxy 650, or G/5 Five-Minute Adhesive. Blended with epoxy to a “peanut butter” consistency, it will be easy to fair.
