Ultiloc 5003 has proven to be one of the more popular and interesting products in the Ultiloc series. Ultiloc 5003 also has well established superior gas barrier performance allowing it to be considered an acceptable replacement for alternative barrier technologies.

Kuraray Poval™ 4-98HV is a fully hydrolyzed polyvinyl alcohol (PVOH) grade by Kuraray. It is used as an adhesive promoter. It is suitable for modification of emulsion adhesives and remoistenable adhesives in the paper processing industry. It offers good cohesion and adhesion to fibers, fillers and pigments. It exhibits good bonding strength and pigment binding capacity. Aqueous solution of KURARAY POVAL™ 4-98 HV can be added to polymer emulsion which is already stabilized with polyvinyl alcohol to extend the open time, increase setting speed and influence the rheology. It is used in postage stamps and labels.

KURARAY POVAL™ 44-88 (formerly KURARAY POVAL™ PVA-224) by Kuraray is a polyvinyl alcohol (PVOH) compound. It is a biodegradable, recyclable and water-soluble grade. It offers good bonding strength and pigment binding capacity. It exhibits excellent film-forming characteristics, high tensile strength and elasticity. It shows resistance against organic solvents and dispersing power. KURARAY POVAL™ 44-88 is used in water-based pressure-sensitive labels and remoistenable adhesives. It is designed for paper processing industry and films.

Aqueous solution of KURARAY POVAL™ 49-88 S2 can be added to polymer emulsion which is already stabilized with polyvinyl alcohol to extend the open time, increase setting speed and influence the rheology. KURARAY POVAL™ 5-74 LLA by Kuraray is a water-soluble, polyvinyl alcohol (PVOH) grade manufactured by alcoholysis of polyvinyl acetate. It exhibits high molecular weight, good cohesion and low ash (sodium acetate) content. It shows good adhesion to fibers-, fillers- and pigments. KURARAY POVAL™ 5-74 LLA is recommended for adhesive for flooring webs, PSA labels and in remoistenable adhesives which are employed mainly in the paper processing industry, films applications.

KURARAY POVAL™ 30-92 by Kuraray is a fully saponified polyvinyl alcohol (PVOH) grade. It exhibits good cohesion and adhesion to fibers, fillers and pigments. It offers good bonding strength and pigment binding capacity. KURARAY POVAL™ 30-92 is recommended to produce paper adhesives. It is suitable for pressure sensitive labels. Complies with EU Directive 67/548/EC regulation.

KURARAY POVAL™ 23-88 CM by Kuraray is polyvinyl alcohol (PVOH) grade modified with cationic monomer. It exhibits good affinity to cellulose such as pulp & cotton and high adhesion strength to hydrophobic substances. KURARAY POVAL™ 23-88 CM is recommended for use in adhesives.

Elvanol™ 90-50 by Kuraray is a fully hydrolyzed, medium-to-low viscosity polyvinyl alcohol. Provides high film strength and binding power in relatively low -viscosity systems. Offers oil-, grease-, water and solvent resistance. It combines efficient binding with excellent high shear rheology, controls backside lint and surface debris and provides superior holdout. It is compatible with modified starches. Used in adhesives for porous substrates including paper and paperboard, hot-water soluble film, and as a binder for pigments or other solid particles. It is particularly useful as a pigment binder for ceiling tile primers. Elvanol™ 90-50 complies with FDA regulation.
