Kolon Industries HIKOREZ® T-3095 is a pale yellow thermoplastic resin obtained from the copolymerization of C5 aliphatic olefin, diolefin and C9 aromatic olefin generated in the thermal-cracking process of naphtha. This resin is used together with natural rubber for solvent-based pressure sensitive adhesive (SBPSA), and offers excellent compatibility with Styrene-Butadiene-Styrene copolymer (SBS) and is used as tackifier for hot melt pressure sensitive adhesive (HMPSA). V-TAC™ 5951 dispersion is an aqueous, 50% solids, solvent-free anionic dispersion based on an aliphatic hydrocarbon resin compatible with the following latexes: acrylic, styrene-butadiene rubber, neoprene and natural rubber. V-TAC™ 5951 enhances adhesion to polyolefin substrates and is highly resistant to acids and alkalis. SYLVALITE RE 100L rosin ester is a stabilized pentaerythritol ester of Tall Oil Rosin. SYLVALITE RE 100L exhibits low color and good color stability. This resin is compatible with a broad range of polymers, which enables formulation flexibility in various hot melt and solvent based adhesive applications.

SYLVARES TR B115 polyterpene resin is a biorenewable tackifier made from selected terpene monomers. This product can be used to tackify natural rubber, synthetic elastomer, and some polyolefin adhesives. The aliphatic nature of this product allows compatibility with the mid-block of styrene-isoprene-styrene block copolymers while limiting interaction with the styrenic endblocks providing a balance of tack, peel, cohesive strength, and heat resistance.

SYLVALITE RE 105L rosin ester is a pentaerythritol ester of rosin with a higher softening point than typical products of its type. It has been formulated to provide outstanding heat and aging stability. The stability, low volatility and polymer compatibility of this product make it useful in wide variety of adhesives and other applications where improved heat resistance and shear strength are required.

SYLVATAC RE 25 rosin ester is a low softening point ester of tall oil rosin with good stability and mild odor. This liquid tackifier has wide compatibility, allowing it to be used in many adhesive systems, particularly where better wetting or low temperature tack is required.

SYLVARES TR 7125 polyterpene resin is a thermally stable polyterpene tackifier that can be used to tackify natural rubber, synthetic elastomer, and some polyolefin adhesives. It may also be used in investment casting applications.

SYLVARES TP 96 resin is a low softening point terpene phenolic resin having broad polymer compatibility. This thermoplastic resin is designed to tackify hot melt and pressure sensitive adhesives providing improved tack, peel and flexibility for EVA, SIS and acrylic based systems. V-TAC™ 9001 dispersion is an aqueous, 55% solids, solvent-free anionic rosin based dispersion compatible with the following latexes: acrylic, styrene-butadiene rubber, natural rubber and polychloroprene. V-TAC™ 9001 enhances adhesion as well as superior heat resistance. V-TAC™ 9001 is recommended as a tackifier for pressure sensitive and contact-bond adhesives.

SYLVALITE RE 105XL rosin ester is very light colored and stable with moderately high softening point. This resin is compatible with a broad range of polymers, which enables formulation flexibility in various hot melt and solvent based adhesive applications. Adhesives formulated with SYLVALITE RE 105XL resin achieve the lightest color among the rosin ester product range.
