Glucanase BEX 10,000 beta glucanase is particularly useful in industrial and agricultural processing applications due to its high degree of stability. This enzyme’s resistance to denaturation by higher than moderate temperature and pH extremes makes it particularly durable. This enzyme hydrolizes beta‐D‐glucan components, bypassing branch points which often serve as blocking points to other exo‐acting enzymes. Despite the fact that Beta‐glucanase is the primary enzyme associated with this product, other enzymes providing enhanced action are also present. Bacillus subtilis amylase in the product is particularly useful due to its activity upon a broad range of starches.
