ProFlex 4 serves as a plasticizer compatible with various resins, including polyacetals, polycarbonates, polysulfones, and polyamides. Its attributes encompass enhanced low-temperature flexibility, improved finish quality, heat stability up to 80 degrees celsius, augmented shape stability through decreased water absorption, and simplified mold removal processes.

Smiths Metal Centers Polycarbonate (PC GF 20) is an enhanced version of PC, with improved stiffness, tensile strength and a lower coefficient thermal expansion.

MECHETEC® PC (Polycarbonate) is a transparent thermoplastic that exhibits extraordinary impact resistance and excellent electrical properties. In addition, its low moisture absorption rate and good chemical resistance make it an extremely versatile engineering material and allows for its use in a multitude of industrial applications. GEHR PC® is a transparent material and belongs to the group of amorphous engineering plastics as well as to the polyester family of plastics. It has a high stiffness and extremely high impact strength. It also has a high glass transition temperature and heat deflection temperature (approx. +130 °C). The continuous operating temperature of PC ranges between approximately -60 °C and +120 °C. The material is highly resistant to high-energy radiation. However, it must be stabilized against UV rays, otherwise yellowing may occur. Like all polyesters, PC is not resistant to hot water (from approx. +60 °C) in the long term.

Smiths Metal Centers Polycarbonate (PC) is supplied as a machine grade which is well suited for a variety of application which requires high impact strength. It is an amorphous transparent material which benefits from a combination of good mechanical and electrical properties. The material is readily recyclable and benefits from good machinability and can be machined to close working tolerances.
