In plastic industry it serves as the UV stabilizer and the antiozonant of polymer material. It is used in polypropylene fiber, film and narrowband to provide good stability, but make the product appear yellow-green. The amount of dosage is 0.3 - 3 PHR.

WSD-800 is a colorless transparent oily liquid PVC plasticizer obtained from vegetable oil through catalytic hydrogenation, hydrolysis, dehydrogenation, distillation and esterification.

Reagens SL/48 is suitable for extrusion and injection molding of semirigid and plasticized PVC, particularly for the production of shoes, boots, flexible hoses ecc. It imparts good initial color, good transparency and an excellent long term heat stability with most types of PVC resins, and can be used also in plastisol applications. SL/48 provides good processing properties and shows low plate-out tendency. The addition of an epoxy compound, such as Reaflex EP/6 (about 2-4 phr), improves the long term heat stability and the weathering performance.
