Sunspacers™ 04.X are finely divided, optically clear, solid fused amorphous silica micronized powders. This product is specially engineered for paints, liquid and powder coatings, inks, adhesives, and thermoplastics, including UV curable compositions. These micronized powders increase corrosion resistance, reduce shrinkage, improve adhesion, and enhance surface qualities including abrasion, mar and scratch resistance. Sunspacers™ 04.X have a median particle size of approximately 3-4 microns, with a particle size range of 0.5 microns to 13 microns.

S-381-N5 is a modified, micronized blend of natural and synthetic wax that has a uniform melting range peaking at 91°C. Sunspheres™ 200 Nm are optically clear, solid fused amorphous microspheres designed for use in a wide variety of coatings, inks, adhesives, powder coatings, and thermoplastics, including UV curable compositions. These sub-micron sized spheres can be used to improve physical and mechanical properties including reduced shrinkage, improved adhesion, impact resistance, and enhanced surface qualities such as hardness, mar and scratch resistance. The average particle size is 200 nanometers and range in size from about 50 nm to 500 nm.

SPP-10 is a low molecular weight polypropylene texturing agent. The SPP Series consists of polypropylene powders in a controlled range of particle sizes. These products are stir-in powders that can be easily dispersed under high-speed mixing in solvent, UV, or water-based inks & coatings.

TACorr G50 Zi is a special formulation based on our TACorr G50 polymer. The anticorrosion properties were further optimized for iron & steel and multimetal applications. TACorr G50 Zi can be used in water borne and solvent borne systems.

CeraSPERSE 174 is synthetic wax and polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) compounded in refined linseed oil. Shamrock’s CeraSPERSE products are manufactured using a controlled crystallization process that allows the production of 1 micron wax dispersions. These wax compounds have a translucent appearance with a shiny gloss and a creamy feel. In addition to our standard products, Shamrock can develop and produce a wide range of compounds on a make-to-order basis.

S-483 is a spherical synthetic wax with a DSC melt peak above 110°C. It has good onset of melting and low crystallinity. S-379-H is a synthetic wax with a DSC peak melt around 100°C and corresponding low onset of melting. Shamrock’s product line of micronized waxes provide rub and abrasion resistance. Included in this line are products that provide gloss, matting, clarity, and controlled slip in a range of particle sizes.

TexMATTE 6005 is a cross-linked polymethyl methacrylate product.

TACorr G50 is a novel, polymeric corrosion inhibitor, offering multi metal protection, e. g. On alumina alloys, iron & steel, non ferrous metals, zinc and others. It was developed through a combined R&D project with Fraunhofer IFAM, Bremen.

SST®-2 is a white low MW PTFE micropowder with particle size distribution at a mean value of 8 µm. SST®-2 products are Shamrock’s PTFE micropowders that are defined by particle size and distribution, molecular weight, crystallinity, surface area, oil adsorption, powder flow, and color. Made primarily from highly controlled recycled PTFE feedstocks, SST® products are used for their ability to produce slip, nonstick, water repellency, texture, release, rub, and abrasion resistance to surfaces.

Median particle size of 3 to 4 microns, with a particle size range of 0.5 microns to 92% passing 22 microns.

Antioxidants - Others

Multifunctional additive with good wetting and dispersing properties for solvent-based and water borne coating systems, biodegradable. ANTIGEL is mainly used in solvent containing systems based on alkyds, alkyd/melamine, nitrocellulose combinations and polyesters. The above mentioned properties of ANTIGEL are also suitable for coating systems based on alkyds, alkyd/acrylic and other systems.
