menzolit® SMC 0600 is a sheet molding compound based on unsaturated polyester resin. The product is glass fiber reinforced and contains mineral fillers. In case of fire the product doesn’t melt, neither does it form droplets nor is smoke generation excessive. The material is compression molded in heated steel molds. It is recommended to work with chrome plated tools. The product contains no halogens or heavy metals nor any candidates from the REACH SVHC list.

StarPCS™ SBMC-998 are carbon fiber reinforced molding compounds containing a discontinuous carbon fiber, a specially formulated StarPCSTM polycarbosilane resin, and refractory particulate. SBMC-900 and SBMC-998 can be used in the cured state, but are specifically designed for use as a ceramic matrix composite (CMC) thermal or mechanical structure.

Toray Toray Cetex® MC1200 is a thermoplastic bulk molding compound (BMC) based upon Cetex TC1200 PEEK thermoplastic uni-directional tape. Toray Cetex® MC1200 is offered on standard-modulus fibers lengths of up to 25.4 mm (1”). Intermediate modulus fibers and alternative lengths may also be available. Thermoplastic bulk molding compound allows part fabrication with short cycle times. This product allows complex shapes to be made with varying wall thickness, integrated ribs, and reinforcing structure. Many composite compression molded parts are used to replace metal parts for weight savings or they replace plastic injection molded parts where higher strengths or stiffness are required. Toray Cetex® MC1200-4A, PEEK, 25.4 mm (1”) represents standard-modulus AS-4 fiber chopped to 25.4 mm (1”) in length.

UDCarbon® 24CF60-12K is generally used in automotive, industrial sector, leisure and clothing applications.

Resinoid 1360HR is a glass reinforced, two-step phenolic molding compound. It exhibits outstanding impact strength, electrical and thermal properties. Lytex® 9063-E is an epoxy high performance, fiberglass reinforced ESC® molding compound designed for military and aerospace structural applications requiring excellent mechanical properties, retention of properties at elevated temperatures, good chemical resistance and excellent electrical properties. It meets the requirements of MIL-M-46069 and MIL-M-46892.

AMC® 8590 is a chopped carbon fiber reinforced ESC® molding compound. It is easily moldable and provides parts that are high strength, fatigue resistant, with high heat resistance and a low density. The carbon fiber is standard modulus PAN based 12K tow.

Verkid® BMC PX4 is a fiber reinforced compound, in a thermoset resin matrix, with mineral fillers and different additives. Generally thermoset unsaturated polyester or vynil-ester resins are used as organic matrix. With the aim of enhance its characteristics and improve its transformation, other components are added: catalysts, inhibitors, thermoplastic additives, demoulding agents, thickeners and pigments.

Resinoid 2277 is a chopped fabric reinforced, two-step phenolic molding compound. It was specifically developed for molding applications where a lightweight, high strength material with good impact strength is needed. This material comes in pelletized from and is suitable for transfer or compression molding and can be used in injection molding systems with deep flight screws. Resinoid 2277 meets the requirements of ASTM D-5948 CFI-20 (Formerly MIL M14/1 CFI-20).

Polynt Group BMC RF 9/25 is a bulk molding compound based on an unsaturated polyester resin, fire retardant grade, halogen-free, reinforced with glass fibers. This BMC has been developed for electrical application. Good mechanical properties and good fire protection grade are combined into the BMC RF 9/25. BMC RF 9/25 is certified V0 3,0 mm by UL laboratories. BMC RF 9/25 is formulated according to RoHS, REAC regulation SVHC and WEEE European legislation.

Resinoid 2089 is a chopped fabric reinforced, two-step phenolic molding compound offering good physical and wear properties. This product has been specifically formulated for mechanical applications where minimal wear and low shrinkage values are desired. This material comes in bulk fabric form and is suitable for compression molding.
