GENIOSIL® XL 10 is an alkoxyvinyl silane compound. When exposed to moisture, the silane undergoes hydrolysis, resulting in the release of methanol. This hydrolysis process leads to the formation of silanols, which have the ability to react with each other and form siloxanes. The applications of GENIOSIL® XL 10 include marine and protective coatings, plastic additives, and plastic crosslinking.

Evonik 1,7-Octadiene 98% serves as a versatile crosslinker for various polymers, with a preference for polyolefins like PE or PP. It can be applied in its pure form or undergo chemical modifications such as epoxidation or hydrosilation. Due to its reactivity, incorporating 1,7-octadiene directly into the polymerization process as a comonomer is advantageous.

AEROSIL® R 812 S is hydrophobic fumed silica grade treated with HMDS (Hexamethyldisilazane). It is even more hydrophobic than AEROSIL® R 812 and convenient for stabilizing a defoamer and well suitable as a component of foam control agents.

AEROSIL® R 972 is hydrophobic fumed silica grade treated with DDS (Dichlordimethylsilane). The moderate hydrophobicity of these AEROSIL® products is suited for defoaming properties in the presence of appropriate hydrophobic liquids. They are recomended for improving the sedimentation stability of defoamer dispersions as well.

AEROSIL® 300 is a hydrophilic fumed silica with a specific surface area of 300 m²/g.

AEROSIL® 200 is a hydrophilic fumed silica with a specific surface area of 200 m²/g.

AEROSIL® OX 50 is a fumed silica with a very low specific surface area, low thickening, and high purity. The product can be used as an additive or as a raw material. In polymer composites, high filler loading can be achieved, making it possible to control essential characteristics of polymers.

SABIC's Specialties Business SILTEM™ Resin STM1500 is a flexible polyetherimide (PEI)-siloxane copolymer for cable and wire coatings. It is RoHS compliant and suitable for use in the electrical and electronics industries, specifically in electrical components and infrastructure, hydrocarbons and energy, nuclear, industrial defense, electronic material handling, industrial material handling, and mass transportation applications, including aircraft interiors and rail. This product does not contain PFAS intentionally added during SHPP’s manufacturing process and are not expected to contain unintentional PFAS impurities. Each user is responsible for evaluating the presence of unintentional PFAS impurities.

LNP LUBRICOMP RFL36XXY compound is based on Nylon 6/6 resin containing 30% glass fiber, 15% PTFE. Added features of this grade include: Wear Resistant.

SABIC's Specialties Business NORYL™ N190X resin is a non-reinforced blend of polyphenylene ether (PPE) + polystyrene (PS). This injection moldable grade contains non-brominated, non-chlorinated flame retardant and carries a UL94 flame rating of 5VA at 3mm and V0 at 1.5mm along with a UL746C Outdoor Suitability rating of F1. NORYL™ N190X resin offers strong electrical performance, low moisture absorption, dimensional stability, and hydrolytical stability. This material is an excellent candidate for indoor and outdoor electrical enclosure, wall plate / switch, connector, and solar / photovoltaic junction box applications.

SABIC's Specialties Business ULTEM™ Resin 2210R is a 20% Glass fiber filled, enhanced flow Polyetherimide (Tg 217°C) with internal mold release. ECO Conforming, UL94 V0 and 5VA listing. This product does not contain PFAS intentionally added during SHPP’s manufacturing process and are not expected to contain unintentional PFAS impurities. Each user is responsible for evaluating the presence of unintentional PFAS impurities.

SABIC's Specialties Business FLEX NORYL WCV063 resin is a flexible, non-reinforced extrudable blend of Polyphenylene Ether (PPE) + Thermoplastic Elastomer (TPE). This material contains non-halogenated flame retardant and carries UL VW-1 and UL94 V0 ratings along with a Shore D Hardness reading of 63. FLEX NORYL WCV063 resin was developed for evaluation in automotive wire + cable applications requiring ISO6722 Class A or B. It exhibits ultra thin-wall capability, Good scratch abrasion and pinch resistance, High dimensional stability, low shrinkage and warpage, Very low water absorption, chemical resistance, and good dieletrcic strength. Processing is typically conducted on standard extrusion equipment, and UL 1581 testing is conducted on 2.0mm wire with 0.12mm X 20 stranded copper conductor.
