GMS Composites EP-272 is a formulated epoxy resin film with long out life. The product has a versatile curing cycle from as low as 70°C or as high as 130°C, thus enabling the product to be used to produce a wide range of composite items, from large structures to numerous small components. EP-272 is a resin film available on a lightweight scrim or without a scrim. The EP-272 resin is compatible with EP270 pre-pregs. The resin film has good flow and the tack of EP-272 can be varied.

LC294 is a phenolic prepreg system tailored to specific manufacturing and performance benefits for a variety of aircraft interior applications. LC294 provides extremely low OSU heat release combined with low smoke, self extinguishing, and excellent self adhesive properties and surface finish. HexPly® 954-6 is a 250ºF (121ºC) curing toughened cyanate resin with 300ºF (149ºC) Tg. HexPly® 954-6 is formulated for autoclave curing. Recommended cure is three hours at 250 F (121ºC). Service temperatures are maximized by a post cure of 350ºF - 450ºF (177ºC - 205ºC). The recommended lay-up procedure is HSP-L3. The recommended cure procedure is HSP-C4. Typical applications for HexPly® 954-6 include space structures, such as solar arrays, antennae and support structures, or any application where impact resistance, light weight, excellent dielectric and low outgassing properties are required. HexPly® 954-6 can be impregnated on all available fibers and fabrics.

A wide selection of epoxy resin formulations meet most processing and composite property requirements for tack, toughness, surface finish, cure time, cure temperature, and delivered composite strength and modulus. Custom formulations are also available. ZOLTEK prepreg properties, such as fiber areal weight (FAW), resin content, and width, are readily adjusted to exactly meet customer requirements. APCM DA 4082 is 200°F cure modified epoxy prepreg system which can be prepreged on fiberglass fabric, woven Kevlar, or other woven fabrics. In addition to their low temperature cure capabilities, DA 4080 prepregs have excellent flow to allow for vacuum bag cure conditions. DA 4080 is a one sided pre-impregnated system yielding a single sided tack material. DA 4082 is the same system except that both sides of the fabric are coated yielding a double sided tack material. Both prepregs can be used for laminating and honeycomb sandwich construction.

HexPly® M901 is a hotmelt, thermosetting, high-tack epoxy resin matrix, suitable for prepreg applications at which cure cycles of 130°C and above are required. HexPly® M901 is specifically designed for manufacture of structural composites that are exposed to harsh thermal and environmental conditions.

HexPly® F185™ is an advanced epoxy formulation designed for autoclave curing to offer very high sandwich and metal bonding strengths with moderate laminate strengths. HexPly® F185™ is a structural adhesive and cocuring grade epoxy resin with a 250°F (121°C) cure. This system offers the highest available fracture toughness and strain to failure of the 250°F (121°C) cure resins.

Park’s E-765 is a toughened 270°F cure epoxy prepreg system designed to replace 350°F cure systems in many aircraft structural applications. Park’s E-765-3K-PW, -6K-5HS and 7781 materials are AGATE approved. FAA-approved, B-Basis design allowable databases for AGATE materials are available upon request. Park has also developed AGATE approved material and process specifications which are also available upon request.

LTC102 Prepreg is designed to cure at low temperatures whilst giving the potential for high temperature tooling. It can be supplied on a variety of fabrics to meet your cost and manufacturing requirements.

HexPly® M12 is a good performance, tough epoxy matrix for use in helicopter blades. It exhibits good fatigue life and hot/wet performances up to 100°C. HexPly® M12 is supplied with R-glass UD tape, glass and carbon woven fibers. HexPly® M12 was developed for low exotherm curing, so parts with thickness above 10 cm can be cured directly to 135°C without any exothermal risks.

HexPly 260 is a phenolic resin developed to meet such F.S.T. (Fire, Smoke, Toxicity) regulations and the 1990 O.S.U. index (65/65), for aircraft interior parts as: side wall panels, floor panel, galleys, ceiling panels and lavatories. HexPly 260 prepreg is available in various fabric reinforcements.

EF 12 is above 240 °C. High Tg EF12 resin system is used to produce structural prepregs. Optimized cure methods for these resin systems are Press and Autoclave molding.

EP-620 is designed for composite applications requiring high energy absorption and impact resistance. Toray TC275-1 is a dual-cure toughened epoxy prepreg designed to facilitate composite part construction with low pressure or vacuum pressure cures. The resin system features a 14-day tack life and 14-day total out time to allow the construction of thick or larger composite structure. SIMPREX® M940-200 is an advanced vinyl ester prepreg designed to provide a high performance-to-cost ratio. SIMPREX® M940-200 has a medium tack. It can be cured at lower temperature (205°F) and provides good adhesion to core materials such as Nomex® honeycomb, balsa and polyurethane foam. It is a great choice for many applications in the range of low to medium service temperature.

HexPly® M9.1H is a hotmelt, thermosetting, high tack epoxy resin matrix, specifically designed for prepreg applications at which short cure cycles of 100°C and above are required. M9.1H can be used for manufacture of large industrial components, suitable for cure of thin and thick sections. M9.1H exhibits a long out-life at ambient conditions.

VTC401 is an epoxy resin system designed to give an initial cure at low temperatures or snap cure at high temperatures with enhanced toughness, honeycomb bondability and higher service temperature, giving greater flexibility in component manufacture. GMS Composites EP – 285 is a toughened epoxy resin matrix prepreg with long shelf life. The product has a versatile curing cycle from as low as 80°C or as high as 150°C, thus enabling the product to be used to produce a wide range of composite items, from large structures to numerous small components. EP-285 is available in a range of substrates such as carbon, glass or aramid. This toughened system has outstanding fracture properties and resistance to microcracking. The prepreg has good flow and the tack of EP-285 can be varied.

APCM SG 4528-029CU-102V is a medium weight, conductive, surfacing film composed of a non-woven metallic copper mesh impregnated with a toughened epoxy resin plus an ultra light weight veil for outstanding surfacing capability. It is designed for lightning and shielding protection of aircraft, equipotential ground planes and as a counterpoise for antenna installations.

PRF Composite Materials RP570 is a high performance formulated epoxy resin system with rapid Tg development enabling extremely short process times and excellent esthetic finish. A press tool held at constant temperature of 140°C can produce a part every 4 minutes ready for painting. RP-570 can be supplied on a variety of woven fabrics.

HexPly® M27 is specifically designed for applications with fast curing cycles. It is ideally suited for high volume production techniques—in particular for ski manufacture. HexPly® M27 has been specially developed for UDprepregs with high glass fiber weights, e.g., 1637–6548 lbs/ft2 (500–2000 g/m2).

HexPly® M42 is a high performance, self extinguishing, self adhesive, tough epoxy matrix for use in primary aerospace sandwich structures. It exhibits very high impact resistance and damage tolerance for a wide range of applications. HexPly® M42 is a toughed epoxy resin system supplied with woven glass, carbon and hybrid glass/carbon fibers. HexPly® M42 was developed as a controlled flow system to operate in environments up to 120-130°C.

FIBERGLASS 7781 PRE-PREG may be stored at 70° F for a maximum shelf life of 7 days and for maximum shelf life, store below 40° F for a maximum of 6 months and bring to room temperature for fabrication.
