SILRES® H62 C is a liquid, solvent-free, one-part heat-curing phenyl silicone resin formulation. The product is ideal for impregnating the electrical coils of motors and generators. Besides, SILRES® H62 C can be used to provide hydrophobic properties to porous materials and as a binder for composites made of fibrous fillers, cloths, and woven or non-woven reinforcing materials. The formulation is ready-to-use and crosslinks under heat. While curing, SILRES® H62 C does not release chemical byproducts, so curing shrinkage is barely noticeable. The product also thermosets in thick layers, even when in contact with air. Fully cured SILRES® H62 C has excellent electrical insulation properties and outstanding long-term heat resistance. Additionally, it shows high stability against weathering, moisture, and UV light and can therefore be continuously exposed to constantly changing climatic conditions or UV radiation.

VESTAKEEP® 4000 P is an unreinforced, high-viscosity polyether ether ketone powder. It can be used for manufacturing compounds or as a scatter powder for composites. The semicrystalline polymer offers superior thermal and chemical resistance. VESTAKEEP® 4000 P has low flammability.

Akulon® K224-G6 is a polyamide 6 (PA 6) resin known for being lightweight and UL flame-rated. They find applications in various markets, including automotive and transportation, consumer goods, healthcare, and pharma, as well as industrial applications. This product is processed through injection molding.

Akulon® K224-LPG6U is a polyamide 6 (PA 6) material often reinforced with glass fibers to enhance its mechanical properties. This reinforced material exhibits good UV stability and impact resistance and is lightweight. It finds applications across various markets, including automotive and transportation, consumer goods, and industrial sectors. The addition of glass fibers improves its overall performance and durability in these applications.

Crystic® Fireguard Gelcoat 70PA is our market leading halogen-free fire retardant gelcoat. It has been specifically designed for very stringent fire approvals particularly requiring low smoke characteristics. It achieves TS45545 HL2 with Crestapol 1212 and has low surface spread of flame. It can also be used with standard polyester fire retardant resins.

Crystic® Transfer Moulding Resin 5008ST is a non accelerated orthophtalic resin designed for use by RTM (Resin Transfer Molding) techniques, with excellent mechanical properties. Its rheology makes it suitable to be processed by vacuum injection or wet press as well.

Crystic® Low Styrene Spray Gelcoat LS 96PA is an isophthalic gelcoat. It is filled, pre-accelerated and formulated for spray application. The viscosity profile ensures even coverage with minimal drainage and low film porosity. It is recommended for use in building and transport industries and is also suitable for general molding requirements.

Crystic® Vinylester Resin VE671 is an epoxy Bisphenol A based standard vinyl ester resin. It has outstanding chemical resistance to a wide range of substances, (acids, alkalies, oxidising agents) at room and elevated temperatures. The product is suitable for fabrication of fiber reinforced composites by all conventional techniques (contact molding, filament winding and injection molding) and for use in many chemical processing industry applications (storage tanks, vessels, ducts).

Crystic® Fireguard Gelcoat 73PA is a new technology fire retardant brush gelcoat that is halogen free. It has a number of fire approvals with different crystic resin systems. This product has low surface spread of flame compared to competitive standard technology fire retardant gelcoats.

Crystic® Fire Retardant Resin 5046PA is a filled, orthophthalic, pre-accelerated, unsaturated polyester resin suitable for fire retardant applications. It is designed for manufacturing composite parts using hand layup or injection processes. This product is ideal for demanding applications in buildings, public transport, and railways. It has excellent fire resistance and a Q rating of 0.53, achieving M1/F2 standards as a fully cured laminate with Gelcoat 967 PA FR. This product has a low viscosity, which lowers consumption and enhances suitability for RTM processes. The low styrene content also provides better comfort for users, and the stability provides low filler sedimentation. Pigments and additional fillers can be added to this resin. However, their effects should be tested in workshop conditions before being added to the formulation.

Crystic® Isophthalic Spray Gelcoat GT-900 is a high performance isophthalic gelcoat, filled, pre-accelerated and formulated for spray application. It has been developed to have excellent intrinsic water and weather resistance. The viscosity profile ensures even coverage with minimal drainage and low film porosity. Crystic® Very-Low Styrene Ecogel S3PA is a high performance isophthalic neopentyl glycol gelcoat. This gelcoat is pre-accelerated and formulated for spray application. Crystic Ecogel® S3PA is a low VOC product. Crystic Ecogel® S3PA has been specially designed for the production of high quality parts in the marine industry. This formulation offers an excellent hydrolysis resistance combined with a high gloss and gloss retention. Crystic Ecogel® S3PA has approval by the Lloyd’s Register of Shipping.

Crystic® Polyester Resin 196E is a non-accelerated, non-thixotropic, orthophthalic polyester resin for use in hot climates. It has Lloyd's approval and can be used in marine, transportation, building and construction, and industrial applications. This product is particularly suitable for filament winding and pultrusion processes.

Crystic® Ultra-Low Styrene Ecogel S1PA is an ultra-low-styrene-content spray gel coat. This market-leading, unique technology spray gel coat has only 16% styrene content, which cuts styrene emissions by over 55%. It is suitable for use in industrial and general-purpose applications in transport, building, and industrial markets. This product is also used for the manufacture of wind turbine blades.

Crystic® Polyester Resin 489 is a thixotropic isophthalic polyester resin. When used with Crystic Gelcoat 65PA, they produce a matched performance system for molding boat hulls with outstanding durability and superior blister resistance. Crystic® Polyester Resin 397PA is a pre-accelerated isophthalic/neopentyl glycol polyester resin with a high heat deflection temperature and good water and chemical resistance. It is recommended for the fabrication of high-performance laminates for critical applications in aggressive environments. This product is suitable for contact molding and filament winding processes.

Crystic® Orthophthalic Spray Topcoat 408PA White is a pre-accelerated flowcoat with excellent scuff resistance, designed for use in general purpose GRP moldings. It is based on a high quality orthophthalic unsaturated polyester resin and is suitable for all general molding requirements. The product is pigmented using a highly UV resistant grade of titanium dioxide.

Crystic® Laminating Resin 406PA is a pre-accelerated, thixotropic, orthophthalic polyester resin. This laminating resin has rapid wet out and low exotherm, making it ideal for multi-layer laminates in spray or hand-lay applications. It has a gel time of 18 minutes and Lloyd's approval. This product is suitable for use in marine, transportation, building and construction, and industrial applications.

Crystic® Low Viscosity Gelcoat 64PA is a high performance isophthalic gelcoat, pre-accelerated and formulated for brush or roller application. Crestapol® 1211A Urethane Acrylate Resin is a partially accelerated, filled, tough urethane acrylate resin designed for applications requiring the highest levels of fire and smoke performance. It incorporates a selected grade of alumina trihydrate (ATH), which makes it suitable for the production of laminates where excellent fire resistance and low levels of smoke and toxic fumes are required. This product is halogen-free and does not contain heavy metals.

Crestafire® GCS 1001PA is a pre-accelerated, low-smoke, fire-retardant, polyester-based gelcoat designed to be applied by spray in a thin layer of 500μm. It incorporates new intumescent technology. When exposed to fire, Crestafire® GCS 1001PA forms a foamed, cellular charred layer, offering a high degree of protection to the surface of the composite. It is restricted to a standard light grey color and is designed to be post-painted. It is formulated to EN45545-2 standard to meet HL2.

Crystic® Polyester Resin 272 is an isophthalic polyester resin. It is recommended for use in high-performance applications using filament winding, pultrusion, and centrifugal or contact molding processes. The fully cured laminates have high mechanical strength and excellent strength retention in wet environments at temperatures up to 60ºC.

Crestafire® GCS 1005PA is a pre-accelerated, low-smoke, fire-retardant, polyester-based intumescent gelcoat designed to be applied by spray in a thin layer of 500μm. It incorporates new intumescent technology. When exposed to fire, Crestafire® GCS 1005PA forms a foamed, cellular charred layer, offering a high degree of protection to the surface of the composite. It is restricted to a standard white color, designed to be post-painted, and formulated to EN45545-2 standard to meet HL3.

Crestamould® VE 690PA is a pre-accelerated, thixotropic, modified vinyl ester resin. This product is developed for use as a skin coat in tooling and marine applications. It has excellent blister resistance, and it significantly reduces the occurrence of print-through to produce durable moldings with an enhanced surface finish.

Crystic® Polyester Resin R115PA is a general purpose thixotropic, pre-accelerated, orthophthalic, unsaturated polyester resin. It has a 10-minute gel time and is suitable for use in buidling and construction, transportation and industrial applications by hand lay up or by spray application for the production of most glass reinforced laminates.

Crystic® Resin S15.6 is a very flexible unsaturated polyester resin based on adipic acid. It can be used alone or in conjunction with other polyester resins for the manufacturing of flexible products. Impregnating resins particularly isophtalic resins can be flexibilised by addition of Crystic® Resin S15.6 without any significant impact on the chemical resistance properties.

Crystic® Isophthalic Brush Topcoat 65PAX is a general purpose, brush isophthalic topcoat which cures tack free when applied to the reverse side of a laminate. It can be used in applications where the back surface of a polyester laminate needs to be given a gelcoat finish to improve aesthetics.

Crystic® Sandable Spray Gelcoat 44PA is an isophthalic sandable spray gelcoat for post painting application. This pre-accelerated, isophthalic, filled gelcoat has been specifically designed for applications that are to be post-painted mainly for transport industry. Crystic Gelcoat 44PA has been formulated for spray application.

Crestafire® P1-3002PA is a pre-accelerated polyester resin with fire retardant properties, which make it suitable for applications where fire resistance is a major consideration. It is suitable for RTM (resin transfer molding) and RTM light applications. It requires only the addition of a catalyst to start the curing reaction.

Crystic® Polyester Resin 921 is an un-accelerated, orthophthalic, unsaturated polyester resin with a low viscosity to accept the maximum level of filler particles. It has been developed specifically for polymer concrete. Crystic® 921PALV is a lower viscosity, thixotropic version of this product. It is suitable for pigmented castings filled to a low level or not filled at all.

Crystic® Polyester Resin 489PA is a pre-accelerated, thixotropic, isophthalic polyester resin. When used with Crystic® Marine Grade Gelcoats such as LS 88PA, LS 97PA, LS 30PA, LS 31PA, and Permabright, it gives outstanding durability and superior blister resistance for molding boat hulls. This product is suitable for use with continuous rovings, carbon fibers, and aramids. It has a 23-minute gel time, Lloyd's approval, and is suitable for marine, transportation, building and construction, and industrial applications.

Crestafire® P1-2002PA is a pre-accelerated thixotropic polyester resin with fire retardant properties, making it suitable for applications where fire resistance is a consideration. Crystic® FR1166 PAK is a filled, orthophtalic, pre accelerated, low styrene content and thixotropic unsaturated polyester resin. It has to be used when excellent low smoke and fire resistant laminates are required. Crystic PD1166 PAK is halogen free and does not contain heavy metals.
