CelluComp is a Scottish-based company located in Fife, near Edinburgh. Our team of scientists and business professionals work on the development and commercialisation of sustainable materials. Our principle activity is to develop and commercialize Curran®, a material developed from the extraction of nanocellulose fibers of root vegetables, primarily from sugar beet pulp, which is a by-product of the sugar industry. Curran® offers exceptional mechanical and rheological properties for numerous applications, such as paints and coatings, inks, personal care, home care, paper, food, concrete, drilling fluids, composites and other potential applications. We produce Curran® in our new and advanced manufacturing facility based in Glenrothes, Scotland, where we ensure top quality products for our customers that we serve globally.
For over 20 years, our mission has been to work alongside our customers, helping them to make the best of their color offer. Our goal is to help them Create Value through Color. Our main activity is to produce and market dispersions of pigments (commonly called colorants) to tint paints either in factory or at point of sale. Over the years, we have built up an international network of suppliers, and this has allowed us to consolidate a business of the trading of powder pigments for colors and effects in sectors also outside paints (like plastic, ink, textile, leather…). Today this has become one of the pillars of our company. Iris Green is the market leader for tinting systems in Italy and does business in over 30 countries with more than 400 customers. We are an Italian company with deep local roots, and belong to an International group which does business around the world.
ThermHex Waben produces polypropylene (PP) honeycomb cores as core material for lightweight sandwich panels and components. We also offer semi-finished, laminated honeycomb panels with thermoplastic composite skins.
We offer our customers high quality honeycomb cores which help to produce better and more economic lightweight sandwich panels and parts for different applications. We support our customers to ever better meet requirements of weight reduction and a more efficient usage of natural resources. Thru weight reduction in structural parts of many products we can help to reduce our environmental impact and contribute to sustainability.
JRS Chemistry is an established manufacturer and partner for various industries. Our plant based fibers and hydrocolloids are used as functional additives in manifold applications such as polymers and adhesives.
They offer natural barrier design in packaging and are also high quality excipients in enzyme production. For paper makers, technical ceramics and brake pad manufacturers our products give rise to enhanced process efficiency and fine tuning of properties.
