MOCOM Compounds ALTECH® PS-HI A 1000/100 is a Polystyrene-based injection molding grade with high impact properties and is suitable for applications such as light switches, functional components and various fixtures/fittings in market segments such as lighting, packaging, and various. Pre-drying conditions vary depending on moisture content, but can include a dry air (dessiccant) dryer at 60-80°C for 2-3 hours, or an air circulating dryer at 60-80°C for 2-3 hours. Processing injection molding requires a melt temperature of 180-260°C and a mold temperature of 10-70°C. For optimal results, it should be stored in a dry place, protected from light, and not above 30°C.
