Due to the high cost of raw materials and processing, polysulfones are used in specialty applications and often are a superior replacement for polycarbonates. Three polysulfones are used industrially: polysulfone (PSU), polyethersulfone (PES) and polyphenylene sulfone (PPSU). They can be used in the temperature range from -100 to +200°C and are used for electrical equipment, in vehicle construction and medical technology. Polysulfones have outstanding resistance to heat and oxidation, they are hydrolysis resistant and have good electrical properties.

Kyflon™ 3090 0 is a high strength, high modulus perfluoroelastomer compound that has excellent resistance to a broad range of chemicals. This compound has good mechanical properties and is explosive decompression resistant. Kyflon 3090 has superior thermal stability.

Comco PEEK-ELS EC/Conductive offers excellent mechanical strength, high chemical and hydrolysis resistance as well as high radiation and steam resistance. The continuous operating temperature of PEEK is about 250°C. Thanks to its excellent thermal properties, PEEK is suitable for applications at very high temperatures. Its physical properties remain unaffected by the external environment. It is made of CNT (carbo-nano-tube) PEEK resin. It retains a constant conductivity level between 104 and 106 ohms.

Kyflon™ 3080 is a general purpose carbon filled perfluoroelastomer compound that has outstanding high temperature capabilities (continuous up to 600º F). Kyflon 3080 retains its stability throughout temperature cycling and provides long service life at continuous elevated operating temperatures. Kyflon 3080 has low compression set characteristics along with the broad chemical resistance found with perfluoroelastomer based compounds.
