MOCOM Compounds ALTECH® ABS A 1000/227 UV is a special UV-stabilized Acrylonitrile/Butadiene/Styrene/Copolymer base polymer that is suitable for injection molding with melt temperatures between 200-240°C and mold temperatures between 50-80°C. This polymer is ideal for applications such as housings, clothing/fasteners, and building and construction. It is essential to pre-dry the polymer under conditions of 80°C in a dry air (dessiccant) dryer for 2-4 hours and 80°C in an air circulating dryer for 3-6 hours, depending on moisture content, with a maximum moisture content of 0.20%. Furthermore, it should be stored in a dry environment that is protected from light and not above 30°C.
