PowerFill™ is a nickel coated graphitized fiber bundle having a random irregular shape as seen below. The base material is composed of graphite fiber/graphitized resin bundles commonly known in industry as WonderFill. The base material is 99.999% pure graphite having a 1.76 g/cc material density. These fiber bundles are uniformly coated with a thin layer of nickel (nominally 60% by weight) to form a cost effective polymer additive suitable for EMI / RFI shielding applications and high thermal/electrical conductivity applications.

Graphite Engineered Solutions WonderFill is a highly graphitized (>99.999% Carbon) powder form of irregularly shaped particulates. The particles are composed of discontinuous segments of resin infused carbon fiber bundles. Each particle is composed of approximately half fiber and the other half carbonized resin. The aspect ratio of these particles varies from 1:1 to over 500:1. The range of WonderFill grades provide powders that vary from fairly coarse grades (high aspect ratio) to ultrafine grades (low aspect ratio).
