SABIC's Specialties Business LNP THERMOCOMP OFC08 compound is based on Polyphenylene sulfide (PPS) resin containing 40% glass fiber. Added features of this grade include: High Modulus and Strength, Good Impact Strength and Ductility, Excellent Heat and Chemical Resistance, Good Electrical properties and Inherently Flame-Retardant. It is also an Easy Flow grade with Good Flash Control. Applications of this grade include electric and electronic components, and various parts requiring high strength and high heat resistant. This product does not contain PFAS intentionally added during SHPP’s manufacturing process and are not expected to contain unintentional PFAS impurities. Each user is responsible for evaluating the presence of unintentional PFAS impurities.

DAP K77/6220F is a high-quality diallyl iso-phthalate molding compound that combines short glass fibers and flame retardant properties. Supplied in granular form, it is designed for ease of use in molding applications. This compound has excellent flow characteristics, making it easy to pour and mold in standard compression, transfer, or injection equipment. DAP D44/6160 is a mineral-filled, special-purpose diallyl ortho-phthalate molding compound supplied in a free-flowing granular form. It can be easily molded using compression, transfer, or injection equipment and can be readily preformed. It surpasses all mineral compounds available today in terms of mechanical and electrical properties. It boasts extremely low water absorption, high dielectric strength, and a low dissipation factor, along with high tensile strength, exceptional arc resistance, and excellent resistance to high temperatures.

DAP K31/6220 is a versatile diallyl iso-phthalate molding compound, filled with short glass fibers and supplied in granular form. This compound offers excellent heat resistance and is suitable for a wide range of applications. It is easy to work with, pouring easily and allowing for preforming. Additionally, it molds readily using standard compression, transfer, or injection equipment. DAP D62/6130F is a versatile diallyl ortho-phthalate molding compound, with the added benefits of being flame retardant and long-glass fiber filled. It is supplied in flake form, making it convenient for various applications. This compound can be efficiently molded using compression or transfer equipment and is easily preformed for ease of handling. Notably, it maintains its performance when stored at room temperature for up to one year. Additionally, it has successfully passed NASA outgassing tests, indicating its suitability for a range of applications, including those with stringent requirements.

DAP K61/6230 is a general-purpose diallyl iso-phthalate molding compound that contains long-glass fiber fillers. It is supplied in flake form, making it suitable for various molding applications. This compound can be preformed and easily molded using standard compression and transfer equipment. It offers good moldability and is designed to meet the requirements of general-purpose molding applications where a balance of mechanical strength and ease of processing is essential.

Hot punching grade with excellent electrical properties and low moisture absorption. Major application is for punched parts for switches and other insulation applications requiring high electrical strength in applications where either moisture is present or in areas of high humidity.

NP630 is a fine machining grade with excellent electrical properties and moisture resistance. It has low cold flow with good dimensional stability.

Plenco® 03303 is a mineral and flock-filled phenolic molding compound offering excellent electrical insulating properties. UL recognized under file E40654. 03303 is available in black.

Grade RT130M meets all of the property requirements of NEMA FR-4, with the added feature being flame resistant, UL94 V-0. Typical applications include bushings, spacers and other structural parts. RT130M has excellent machining characteristics. Certification to IEC standard is pending.

RT500M is composed of a medium weight glass fabric combined with an epoxy resin system. RT500M combines excellent electrical characteristics with very good physical properties. Electrical properties maintained in high humidity conditions. It also complies with MIL-I-24768/2, Type GEE and ASTM D709 Type IV Grade G-10. RT500M is not flame resistant. Certification to IEC standard is pending.

Plenco® 06343 is a mica reinforced phenolic molding compound, offering for a low power factor, low electrical losses, and good electrical properties after long exposures to high humidity. UL recognized under component file E40654. 06343 is available in natural color.

RT130X is manufactured with an extra fine glass fabric and has excellent machining characteristics. RT130X also complies with IEC 61212-3-1 EP GC 23.

The RT500F has good electrical properties under humid conditions, excellent heat resistance and mechanical properties. RT500F is made with a fine weave woven glass fabric, for better machining and a smoother surface finish. It also complies with MIL-I-24768/2, Type GEE and ASTM D709 Type IV Grade G-10. Plenco® 04504 is a two-stage, mineral and cellulose-filled phenolic molding compound having better impact and heat resistance than general purpose molding compounds. Since it also has good electrical properties, it has found use in a wide variety of wiring device applications. It is UL recognized under file E40654. 04504 is available in black.

RT505 has good electrical properties under humid conditions and has excellent arc resistance. Typical applications include fuse tubes and naval switchboard insulation. RT505 also complies with MIL-I-24768/8, Type GMG and ASTM D709 Type IV Grade G-5.
