SABIC's Specialties Business LNP ELCRES EXL9334 is based on Polycarbonate (PC) siloxane copolymer resin. It is a UV stabilized, medium flow opaque material suitable for injection molding (IM) and sheet extrusion applications. This grade offers UL94 V0 @ 1.5mm flame retardancy based on non-bromine, non-chlorine FR systems, extreme low temperature ductility (-40°C) characteristics and excellent processability with opportunities for shorter IM cycle times compared to standard PC. It is available in a wide range of opaque colors and may be an excellent candidate for a wide range of applications.

SABIC's Specialties Business LNP ELCRES EXL7414 is based on Polycarbonate (PC) siloxane copolymer resin. It is a medium flow, non-chlorinated, non-brominated flame retardant opaque grade. It offers excellent low temperature ductility (-40C), extremely thin wall flame retardant capability with UL94 V0 at 0.6mm, and in combination with excellent processability and release with opportunities for shorter cycle times compared to standard Polycarbonate. It is available in wide range of opaque colors and is an excellent candidate for a wide variety of applications such as the battery cover of fast-charging mobile phones that need to be compliant with IEC62368-1.

This grade offers extreme low temperature ductility in combination with high flow characteristics, excellent processability and good chemical resistance. It is a general purpose product available in transparent and opaque colors and is an excellent candidate for a broad range of applications.

SABIC's Specialties Business LNP™ THERMOTUF™ ENH2900A compound is based on Polycarbonate / Polybutylene Terephthalate (PC/PBT) blend. Added features of this grade include: Non-Chlorinated, Non-Brominated Flame Retardant, Good Flow, Impact Modified and Improved Chemical Resistance. It was designed to be suitable for E&E and Healthcare housing applications.

SABIC's Specialties Business ULTEM™ Resin 2310R is an improved flow 30% glass fiber reinforced polyetherimide resin with an added internal mold release. The material is RoHS compliant and is intrinsically flame retardant without the use of FR modifiers and offers UL94 V0 and 5VA ratings. The material may offer excellent dimension stability, strength, stiffness and creep resistance up to high temperature due to its high glass transition temperature of 217°C. The material is opaque and can be custom colored.This product does not contain PFAS intentionally added during SHPP’s manufacturing process and are not expected to contain unintentional PFAS impurities. Features are excellent mechanical, electrical and dimensional properties up to high temperatures. The material may offer very good chemical resistance for an amorphous material and is inherently flame retardant offering UL94 V0 and 5V ratings and aerospace FAR 25.853 compliance. The material is RoHS compliant. Added features of this grade include: High Modulus, Good Surface, Low Warpage, Good Ductility, Non-Brominated & Non-Chlorinated Flame Retardant. Post-Consumer Recycling (PCR) Polycarbonate content up to 35%.

SABIC's Specialties Business ULTEM™ Resin 1010UCL is an amorphous, transparent polyetherimide (PEI) thermoplastic offering enhanced flow and a glass transition temperature (Tg) of 217°C. 1010UCL offers the same performance as ULTEM 1010 resin and offers further enhanced cleanliness control for (optical) applications. The natural (uncolored) version of this grade is compliant with RoHS and also with Halogen Free standards as IEC 61249-2-21 and e.g. IPC 4101E. For colored versions, compliance needs to be checked case by case.

SABIC's Specialties Business NORYL GTX678 resin is a conductive, high performance non-reinforced alloy of Polyphenylene Ether (PPE) + Polyamide (PA). This injection moldable grade is optimized for primer-less electrostatic and powder coat painting, and it is UL 5VA rated with a non-brominated, non-chlorinated FR package. NORYL GTX678 resin exhibits an excellent balance of conductivity, high heat resistance, good ductility, and is heat stabilized. This material is an excellent candidate for non-automotive painted applications such as office furniture, PVC/metal replacement, lighting ballast housings / enclosures, and appliance exteriors. SABIC's Specialties Business FLEX NORYL WCD801AU resin is a flexible, non-reinforced, UV stabilized extrudable blend of Polyphenylene Ether (PPE) + Thermoplastic Elastomer (TPE). This material contains non-halogenated flame retardant and performance capable of meeting UL VW-1 requirements, 80C end use temperature rating, and heat deformation performance as defined by UL 1581. FLEX NORYL WCD801AU resin is intended for evaluation in wire insulation and cable jacket applications in light colors. It has a Shore A Hardness reading of 82 and exhibits superior thermal stability, very low water absorption, good electric properties, low specific gravity, and good color stability after UV weathering per ASTM D4459. Processing is typically conducted on standard extrusion equipment, and UL 1581 testing is conducted on 2.0mm wire with 0.12mm X 20 stranded copper conductor.

LNP LUBRICOMP DFP34 compound is based on Polycarbonate (PC) resin containing 20% glass fiber, 15% PTFE/silicone. Added features of this grade include: Wear Resistant.

SABIC's Specialties Business LEXAN EXL1112A polycarbonate (PC) siloxane copolymer resin is a high flow opaque injection molding (IM) grade. This resin offers good low temperature (-20 C) ductility in combination with excellent processability and release with opportunities for shorter IM cycle times compared to standard PC. LEXAN EXL1112A resin is a product available in wide range of opaque colors and may be an excellent candidate for a wide variety of applications.

SABIC's Specialties Business NORYL™ N1050 resin is a non-reinforced blend of polyphenylene ether (PPE) + polystyrene (PS). This injection moldable grade was designed for improved dimensional stability and flow. This grade contains non-brominated, non-chlorinated flame retardant and carries a UL94 flame rating of 5VA at 2.5mm and V0 at 1.5mm along with impact strength, very low moisture absorption, excellent dimensional stability, and good electrical properties. NORYL™ N1050 resin is an excellent candidate for a variety of applications requiring electrically insulating properties, low moisture absorption and low warpage.

NORYL™ HS2000X resin exhibits strong electrical performance, dimensional stability, very low moisture absorption, and hydrolytic stability. This material is an excellent candidate for electronic / electrical indoor and outdoor applications including air conditioner parts, smoke detector covers, pool + spa pump parts and housings.

NORYL™ N190X resin offers strong electrical performance, low moisture absorption, dimensional stability, and hydrolytical stability. This material is an excellent candidate for indoor and outdoor electrical enclosure, wall plate / switch, connector, and solar / photovoltaic junction box applications.

SABIC's Specialties Business NORYL™ PCN2910 resin is a 35% glass fiber and mineral reinforced blend of polyphenylene ether (PPE) + polystyrene (PS). This high modulus, injection moldable grade contains non-brominated, non-chlorinated flame retardant and carries a UL94 flame rating of 5VB at 2.3mm, V0 at 3mm, and V1 at 1.5mm. NORYL™ PCN2910 resin exhibits good dimensional stability, low specific gravity, and Low Warpage.
