d2p® Flame Retardant
Functions:
Flame Retardant
Compatible Polymers & Resins:
Polyamides, Polypropylenes (PP), Polyethylenes (PE), High-Impact Polystyrene (HIPS), Styrene Acrylonitrile (SAN), Polyvinyl Chloride (PVC), Polyethylene Terephthalate (PET), Polycarbonates (PC), Polybutylene Terephthalate (PBT), Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene (ABS)
Flame Rating:
NFPA-701, UL 94 V0, UL 94 HB
d2p® Flame Retardant decrease the ignitability of materials and inhibit the combustion process, limiting the amount of heat released.
Indo-Nippon Chemical
Indo-Nippon Chemical Tri Octyl Trimellitate (TOTM)
Functions:
Plasticizer
Chemical Family:
Trimellitates
Compatible Polymers & Resins:
Polyvinyl Chloride (PVC)
Indo-Nippon Chemical Tri Octyl Trimellitate (TOTM) is used as a plasticizer for PVC applications especially in the manufacture of high temperature insulated vinyl wires due to its low volatility and high temperature resistance. TOTM is a good substitute for polyester polymeric plasticizers. TOTM can be used alone or in blend with commonly used plasticizers.
