Vertec™ 1020 is a carbon-graphite filled PTFE (polytetrafluorethylene) material. Its ability to run under dry or wet conditions along with its low wear rate makes it an ideal high temperature bearing material. It also offers high load bearing capability, relative to other flouropolymers, for many general-purpose industrial applications.

Rulon® 1045 is a dull gold material that has an excellent ability to elongate in a flip seal application. Coupled with excellent frictional characteristics, it offers the added benefit of energy savings, as well as increased sealing efficiency.This material is also resistant to many harsh chemicals found in the application environments where it is typically used. It is also compatible with most commercially available lubricants for additional reduction in friction. Its low deformation properties allow it to be effective as a bearing or sliding surface.

PBY Plastics PB10102W is a compression molded 15% carbon filled PolyTetraFluoroEthylene (PTFE).

Rulon® 641 is manufactured from FDA compliant materials which possess excellent load and wear characteristics.It offers excellent, continuous non-lubricated service up to 10,000 PV - higher for intermittent service. While the load capacity of Rulon 641 is generally limited to 1,000 psi at room temperature, deformation is a function of wall thickness, temperature and load.Its compatibility with a wide array of mating surfaces, including mild steel, 303 and 316 stainless steels, as well as harder materials, make it a good choice for most food and pharmaceutical bearing applications.

AFT Fluorotec AF103 Glass Filled PTFE is the most commonly used filler in PTFE. It gives much improved compression and wear properties. The material may also be inert gas sintered to further improve creep properties and reduce porosity and gas permeability. There would be a consequent loss of tensile properties.

Duro-Bond PFA is a chemical resistant membrane produced from the copolymerization of tetrafluoroethylene and perfluoroalkoxy resin.

Stoner, Inc. A373 Fluoroelastomer Mold Release Fluoroelastomer Mold Release is a semi-permanent, fast curing release for fluorels, vitons and other fluorocarbons. It provides a permanent yet removable, thin-layer, anti-stick mold surface coating for fast, easy part removal from molds.

Efalon® Carbon-filled K-35 is a PTFE carbon filled(C25 and C35) have less thermal expansion, higher wear resistance, less deformation under load properties compared to virgin Efalon®. Carbon filled PTFE has excellent mechanical and wear properties, retains the excellent frictional properties and is an excellent choice for seals and rings in dynamic and high pressure applications.

Enflon® 115 is 25% bronze. This filler has better wear, creep resistance, and higher thermal conductivity than glass fiber with PTFE. The compound is easily machined, but has poor chemical resistance in the presence of acids and alkali. Useful in applications which undergo high mechanical loads or high-speed rubbing contacts where the bronze filler supplies the strength and conductivity to carry away excess, unwanted heat.

Heroflon Porous PTFE is a 100% PTFE homopolymer powder which is non free-flowing grade.

Kyflon™ 3070 is a general purpose perfluoroelastomer compound that has outstanding high temperature capabilities (up to 590º F).

TR Industries TR-212 High Operating Temperature Liquid Release Agent is a high temperature PTFE liquid release agent of a nearly frictionless polymer lubricant dispersed in a solvent medium. Provides a smooth thin release film that works equally well on various thermoset resins (epoxy, polyester, etc.) thermoplastics (acrylic, polycarbonate, nylon, etc.), rubber (natural, synthetic) and metal tooling applications.

Although PFA is available in a variety of resin grades, the tubing is made exclusively from the highest molecular weight resins available giving it superior physical properties making it suitable for even the most demanding applications. Altafluor 400 Series PFA does not impart taste or odor and is compatible with flare or conventional type fittings.

Xyfluor® 870, a highly fluorinated elastomer compound, offers excellent chemical compatibility over a wide range of temperatures from -76°F to 450°F (-60°C to 232°C). Rulon® J is an all-polymeric reinforced, light brown colored PTFE compound that operates exceptionally well against soft mating surfaces such as 316 stainless steel, aluminum, mild steel, brass and other plastics. The unique "shaft friendly" material is also low in friction and wear and is self lubricating.Rulon J has one of the lowest coefficients of friction of most reinforced PTFE materials. This makes it ideally suited for start/stop applications where stick-slip must be eliminated. The tribological properties of this material also make it suitable for both bearing and wear component applications.
