Crestamould® Resin 474PA is a thixotropic, pre-accelerated orthopthalic polyester resin with good heat and chemical resistance properties. This product is suitable for the construction of tanks, pipes, and fume stacks to operate in environments where heat and chemical resistance are both required. A non-thixotropic, non-accelerated version of this resin is available as Crystic® 198.

This product is pre-accelerated to give sufficient pot life for contact molding using Andonox® KP9 catalyst at normal ambient temperatures. It is suitable for a wide range of applications. This product has been specially formulated to give rapid wetting and impregnation of reinforcements and to aid in the elimination of air. It is almost colorless when cured.
