BTC® 85-RT is a quaternary for formulation into a wide variety of institutional and industrial cleaning applications, including water treatment, gas and oil drilling muds and packer fluids, gas and oil recovery injection water systems, gas and oil fracturing fluid systems, and wood preservation. This biocidal active is associated with a u.S. Epa-registered end-use formulation that meets the criteria for applications against emerging viral pathogens. End-use formulations meeting this criteria may be considered for use as hard surface disinfectants against sars-cov-2, the novel coronavirus that causes the disease covid-19.
