SYNTRAN® DR 7011 is based on our polymeric surfactant technology. This technology was designed to improve wetting and incorporation of pigments or additives into water-based pigment concentrates and coatings. Used as a grinding resin in pigment dispersions, it improves color development of organic pigments and carbon black. Depending on the application and the objective, SYNTRAN® DR 7011 is typically used in concentrations between 10% and 30%. This is a proprietary process that combines two different types of polymers in the same polymer network. It allows a balanced combination of the different polymer properties and an overall improvement of the physical properties of both polymers. It is recommended to be used in combination with another resin such as SYNPRINT AC 5121 or similar.
