The narrow range version of this ethoxylate, made using Sasol Chemicals' patented NOVEL catalyst technology, is also available.

ALFOL 20+ is a high-purity, petrochemical-based linear primary alcohol with an even number of carbon chain lengths. Sasol Chemicals' ALFOL alcohol is physically and chemically equivalent to corresponding oleochemical-based alcohols derived from sources such as coconut oil and palm kernel oil.

Many systems already contain surfactants or dispersing agents which tend to foam to a certain degree. In mechanical or agitated systems foaming can be an issue, so the incorporation of an antifoam during processing will help to significantly reduce the problem. Dfoam AX1 is designed specifically for paint formulations.
