PEXIDAN® HF SX407K pre-grafted base is mixed with a crosslinking catalyst masterbatch CM424 in the ratio 95:5. Crosslinking is obtained by exposure to moist or hot water immersion only. PEXIDAN® HF SX407K has been designed to be used in different nuclear power plant radiation resistance cables sheathing with LOCA approval. Different types of cable designs made using SX407 have complied with the following flame tests: - BS 4066 Part 1/IEC 332 Part 1; CEGB GDCD Standard 21; VDE 0472 Pt.804 Method C; VDE 0472 Pt.814; NF C 32- 070 Test 2 (Category C1); BS 4066 Part 3; IEC 332 Part 3 (Categories A, B & C).

PEXIDAN® HF SX559 has been designed to meet the requirements of IEC 60092-351 HF90, EN 50363-5, EI5 type, EN 50525-1, EN 50525-3-41 or other insulation or sheathing applications where high fire retardancy is required. Good CPR performance.
